I couldnt give a damn about the score, its the performance, its like dejavu. Unbelievable how complacent we get as a support. After warnings of complacent play in the first half of games last season against Dundee and Aberdeen you all just accept it as normal. I give up. Have it your way I will however no doubt mention this again throughout the season when we do this over and over again. Doubt we can blame preseason rustiness again. Bring on a much sterner test against Morton. I will be there again to support the team as usual

Ahh such thorough, incisive comment from a guy with 55 posts in the last 5 years...glad you managed to pull all your brain cells together to form the sentence even if you probably got help to do it and didn't understand what it meant
-
Thank you very much for a thorough explanantion of what may have occurred yesterday. unlike some who just think we should just accept the same old 'its preseason' explanantion which I have always found to be crap especially when one of the teams we played had the same amount of new faces but beat us quite comfortably last week
-
No thats what you think..not what I am saying at all. I do expect a much better, more professional approach and application to their play by professional footballers against amateurs, rusty, preseason or not. If you need to comment on the booing then it came from the majority of fans, give them a hard time for turning up and expecting professionals to actually try and look interested preseason or not. As such we seen that application in the 2nd half which shows that they can apply it when they want to
-
OMG..!! .I will make it simple for you....it was the first half PERFORMANCE I am talking about..If we start like this in the league as we have been guilty of before we will not get a comfortable win...we were playing amateurs ffs. A premiership team would have punished us severely for that first half performance remember Dundee, Aberdeen last season..!!
-
When the team put more application into the warm up than they did for the first 45 minutes then they get booed. you dont see that on the TV but is was plain to every fan who turned up. Its not silly its a natural reaction when you see performances like the first half. This isn't the first time that Motherwell have done this. We cannot just turn up for 45 minutes in each game if we want to stay in the league this season. There is no 'hate' that I can see for Heneghan however his performance was terrible. What were you expecting when he gifted them the goal, almost fucked up again by scoring in his own net and unable to hold off a forward who looked 5'4 bullying him.
-
lol that has got to be the understatement of the century, were you watching the same game at all..?? They deserved to be booed..no application at all first half, most players were asleep and not interested. Heneghan was a bonbscare the whole game. Gifted them the goal, nearly scored an og. A minute to go he has the ball, can kick it out the park if he wants but passes it straight to one of their players and they are on the attack and nearly score. Gets bullied by players half his size. Fans around me had their eyes covered every time a ball came near him. My biggest concern was the complete lack of a midfield in the first half as every ball kept getting pumped into the corners bypassing them completely. Pass marks for Kipre, Carson, our captain and our subs...everyone else was in first gear and looked scared they would get an injury if they upped it to 2nd gear.
-
Really..? I thought Kipre was head and shoulders above most of the guys on the park. Composed, never hid, won every tackle and header. Forever cleaning up for heneghan and can pass a ball, some of them set up some decent attacks. Was always looking for the ball. Heneghan is the only player there that gives me the fear. He is woeful and at fault for almost every attack QP had.

Was he not already released by the club in May..?
-
I am pretty positive because again in another game we seem to have created so many chances just the finishing hasnt been there yet. However when and if it does we will give someone a doing if this keeps up. My concern is one striker up front. I really dont like that and have always been an advocate of two up top.

Random steelboy comment with no source = Bollocks...evidence of a source with some corroboration from elsewhere then I will start getting worried

I still wouldnt accept a million from anyone in Scotland. it would be the worst decision the club had made in years. Would sell outwith our country. Our business model should not be about strengthening teams in our own league
-
2 late goals, Bowman on the scoresheet again
-
I think the gaffer is hedging his bets as he can't get rid of the folk given 2 year deals last year
-
Unfortunately with our very small wages, decent players with decent CVs won't come anywhere near us.

Robinson in his interview says McManus is fully fit.

According to the official site season ticket sales are actually up 57% for adults and a whopping 167% for the kids tickets.

Dont give up ever in any game even when we have a bad game. Also hammer the Old Firm. Rub their ugly faces in the dirt..apart from that am cool
-
lol...I meant I had made a mistake not criticising anyone other than me, was trying to apologise
-
Maybe I should have phrased my post better. I was more thinking out aloud (as I tend to do) I dont think anyone will gazump us from what is said on here but I am just pointing out we have mentioned before people coming to the club and then being signed by another team. We are doing our job early so hopefully those frustrations are not going to happen this time. Although doing our work early doors does give us time to look at other targets if our first targets don't sign and stops us signing people at the last minute who are just not good enough.
-
now wondering if we get gazumped because the player is now known, not the first time that has happened to us., Fingers x

Seem resigned re Moult going any word on possibly extending his contract..?
-
You would probably find your own name under that definition as well. have a great day too

Nice to see some cash being invested in the stands and the scoreboard. I wonder how much clubs actually pay in maintenance for the stadiums. We must pay a sizeable amount each year for safety certificate for the o'donnell and the pitch being relaid.
