Due to work commitments its been very hard for me too get to many games, hence why I have been a PATG customer for a good few years. However in taking stock of everything that's going on I wondered why I bothered posting up emotional posts (again sorry Flow, heat of the moment) about Motherwell. When I go to watch Motherwell I love the fact our stadium is not finished, the fact we have yellow paint all over the place. How our stands are all different sizes. It makes it unique and gives the place character. I love the fact the Big Higdon comes in and is not the complete striker, has many faults but still comes out as top scorer. How our players want to come back and finish their careers where they started. How Humphrey can run like the wind but my 7 year old son can cross the ball better. How Lasley is probably the smallest midfielder in the league but is happy to stick the boot in when required. I love the fact that a wee Estonian no one rates comes here and plays for his travel expenses makes an impact and gets a shitload of goals and becomes a fan favourite. How Murphy can beat 8 players and score wonder goals but then is never seen for another 5 matches. I love how we have glorious games when we were expected to fail and abysmal failures when expectations are high of a win. I loved Skippy Sunday, I love 2-0 game against Celtic or the unforgettable 6-6 game against Hibs. I was shocked when Uncle Phil died but was comforted by the togetherness of the fans and their support of the family and each other. Of the naming of the Stands Davie Cooper and Phil O'Donnell. The 1991 Scottish Cup run How the 'well worth saving' campaign rallied us in our darkest hour and then go on to play in the Champions League 10 years later. How we have one of the smallest squads in the league but had great success on the field. I wish we had more money as a club but am happy to live within a strict wage structure for the future of our club I hope we can keep this oddball bunch of players and our old and eccentric stadium going, I hope we are the driving force for change in the game but not for the benefit of one club. I hope that the directors have the fans and the club's future uppermost in their minds at every meeting they attend and fight our corner against the dominance of the Old Firm and our rights as a member club. That's why I love being a Motherwell fan.

They knew about this all day yesterday and were at the meeting, bollocks to giving them time they knew what they were doing all along. I can't wait to read this statement and see how they can justify this...oh right...we need money or we go into administration, well we have been there and done that, didn't seem to affect Dundee much doing it twice and the SFA/SPL will bend over backwards to accommodate a member SPL team after all. Exactly this, the SPL equivalent of 30 pieces of silver. I have seen Flow on these and other boards as fast as lightning on other matters and his silence says a lot. He is the MFC Communication officer so where is our communication from the board on this ridiculous document.??

Does our chairman being part of the SPL Board count as this came from them and must have been approved by the SPL board prior to being published.

I see the club have a heading on their site 'Season Tickets - Why should you buy..??' my thoughts exactly, not much point really.

From P&B allegedly the word on the wire that MJ in a meeting with the Kilmarnock supporters let slip that Celtic have been throwing their weight around re the 11-1 voting rights at recent SPL meetings. Possibility of long legal action against clubs and making things difficult for clubs who attempt to change the vote, seems SPL clubs are backing down on this as well.

How about this SPL board SPL - Rangers and Celtic First Division - Rest of the SPL and six from the First Division Pyramid system thereafter sounds a hundred times better than that pish document you put out...I need to go lie down...

Sporting integrity is VERY simple. Pay your taxes, pay other clubs for buying their players, pay the players the wages that have been agreed to the SFA, no dual contracts. If you break the rules you get punished. How fucking hard is that and I don't need a load of shite from Albert fuckface Camus to tell me

To think I was going up to Fir Park to get my season ticket and join the Well society as the wages went into the bank today...!! Forget it, you are not getting a penny of my money if we accept this. The SPL have just basically threatened the SFL with extinction if they don't agree, bullying of the worst kind and to say it is retaining 'sporting integrity' is absolutely outrageous. My link My other link

I guess the Appelate tribunal will not sit again going by that document. Rangers are being handed the biggest pat on the back for Fraud and cheating I have ever known. The SPL should be disbanded immediately. I understand Motherwell precarious finances but I would rather go part time than accept this in any form. This is so corrupt it is actually embarrassing and gives Rangers fans all the material they need to throw the 'sporting integrity' right back in our faces.

You kidding, their Chairman is a bigger Rangers Supporter than Chic Young and Jim Traynor rolled into one. A Definite Yes vote. He couldn't give a damn about 'his'club's fans outcry. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if he sold the club to Rangers to give them a hand back into the League if the SFL rejected Sevco.

I haven't seen a single thing from SKY to say that they would renegotiate any TV deal if Rangers aren't in the SPL, can anyone post a link..??. Only thing I have read is that Doncaster hasn't signed the new deal yet, why the hell he hasn't is beyond me.

Also why has no one actually tried the other broadcasters to see if a better TV deal can be struck. We seem to be begging SKY to give us any measly deal. I would rather have a 5 year deal with the 'council' channels or ESPN than SKY who have given us the crumbs left over from the EPL deal. I haven't heard much from the SFA or SPL re sponsors for a good few years now.

Why...?? Its a 'discussion forum'. The chit chat as you put it is quite detailed and that for me is a warning signal as most paper chit chat has not had an ounce of detail regarding this whole affair. I hope you are right and I am very wrong but I have always found that self preservation of the duopoly is a founding principle of the SPL and SFA
