Randolph for me, I think he will be the difference in a lot of games whether we collect 3 points or not. Hope to god we get someone with some experience next to Craigan because we sorely need a good central defender as I think Reynolds head is elsewhere. Don't want him sold just want someone else in to take the pressure off. I don't doubt his ability but the constant pressure to sell him must be getting to him. We need to stop all this International Class, Better than Broadfoot, Selling him for a million nonsense and get behind the guy. Every time I come on this board someone wants him sold. Lets get behind him whilst he wears the jersey and let him know we want him to stay.

Sorry, have to agree I thought this was one of Reynolds poorest games in a Well jersey. Not going to go overboard as very few get pass marks. Good first half spoilt by very poor communication. It again in my opinion shows how really frail we are at the back if teams really have a go and then its down to the usual last ditch defending. We may have some promising defenders coming through the ranks like Saunders but we need someone with a bit of experience alongside Craigan and Reynolds head is in another place just now. On his day he is a good solid defender, not in my opinion International class yet as many on here claim as today showed many of his frailties, poor distribution, lack of communication and tendency to get turned far too easily. Unsure if all the talk of selling Reynolds is playing mind games with him. I don't know if I would have the correct frame of mind if the manager and most of the fans wanted to sell me to bring other people in, would make you feel not wanted. I am a fan of Reynolds and hope that the constant speculation of him being touted for sale would stop and let the guy concentrate on his game.

Never meant it to be a dig or anything just highlighting the realities of a small club. Unfortunately I would imagine the cost in wages etc for additional staff and equipment would only make the ticket prices go higher and with some people complaining already regarding costs of tickets (not having a dig either at those folk..!!) then the club I suppose cannot go down that route and just making do with what we have.

Tickets are printed as they are bought and are linked to the computer.With only one computer to do bookings on and only one card machine for credit debit cards then what do you expect?? That's the way it has been for donkeys and will probably continue that way. Motherwell cannot afford the mega money of the old firm and have their own ticketing system like they do. Staff have unfortunately been cut over the last few years as the club has cut its cloth according to their financial situation. This has been well advertised, so what if you have to wait a wee bit longer in the queue, make time for it and get down there when you get the time available. Yes the club knew there would be a lot of interest but the club works with what it has staff wise and if you have to wait 20 minutes or so, then so be it.

Yep, 2nd half he was basically marking their guy in left midfield the whole 2nd half, matching runs etc. I will give him his due in that I saw their midfield wanting to release that guy a few times down the left wing but Humphrey's matched his runs constantly. Although when he did eventually get fed the ball humphrey's couldn't tackle to save himself.

get a grip..no one is disputing the result but once you get rid of the amber and claret specs and looked deeper into the game you cannot fail to see were we struggled. Areas that require working on. Listening to Craig Brown post match interview only confirmed it. Good result but even he said our midfield couldn't cope and it was back to the walls for large parts of the game. We do have players who can boss the midfield but not one of them did that last night. Its not a dig at the team just an observation and its good that Broonie saw this and mentioned it in his post match interview. Even craigan said that the stats guys had warned the team pre match that Aalesund score most of their goals between 45-55 minutes and maybe that played on the minds of the guys as they started the 2nd half.

Thats my point but shaka. Every single person acts differently. If all we done was clap and cheer at the footie it would get boring really quickly. I know I was screaming at Hately because I thought he was totally innefectual in the game. Yes we were 2-0 up but when I see crags putting in that type of performance and murphy breaking club records I hate people like him who hide most of the game. He seems to play well against the old firm but really disappears in other games. I was also really nervous when we seemed to be camped on our own 18 yard line for really long spells in the 2nd half when all we needed was someone to put the foot on the ball and pass the ball about but none of our midfielders could match the norwegians. We need that dig in midfield and it was sadly lacking last night. This is where the frustration comes from and why we shout even when we are in the lead because we are all shit scared because as you know Motherwell always seem to do things the hard way.
