  1. More of a passback, really. Had to laugh at our first corner, 53 minutes in, going right over everyone and out for a throw on the other side. Fucking woeful.
  2. Mildly surprised to see Johnson start ahead of Ainsworth but, hey, I suppose the gaffer knows what he's doing. (On which note, has Leanne been on lately?)
  3. What a great - and timely - thread. Who wouldn't buy the compilation DVD of that lot!? Of the games I've attended, it's the '91 final for me, just edging out the 4-2 semi that preceded it. The games someone mentioned earlier where McClair scored 5 to win consecutive home games against Rangers then Celtic were pretty memorable too. Finally, a special mention for the entire 1981-2 season. The pre-match walk up Airbles Road never felt so good as that season progressed, the only concern being whether we'd score 6 that day, or only 5. Do you feel lucky, punks? Well, do ya?
  4. I'm smiling on the outside at my many memories of Joe, but inside I'm crying. I doubt the Steelmen will ever see his like again. RIP Joe.
  5. I shout at my kids on a regular basis, but they still won't lift a finger. Maybe he should suspend their social media privileges?
  6. Luckily, Anders Breivik chose not to wear our 2011 away strip.
  7. Interesting. That would pull the rug out from under our supposed strategy, but if it means seeing less of that roaring fuckwit Jim White on Sky Sports then bring it on!
  8. Well, that's just scuppered the mental image I had of a Bois' Away Day!
  9. You can only read so much into the BBC stats but it looks as if we were the pressing team right up until the end, which is good. I always get the total fear when we try to see out a game. Looking forward to the feedback from those who actually made it up the high road.
  10. So many great memories - but this one stands out for me...
  11. It's hardly a classic but my favourite is our first at Fir Park. That beautiful moment when the crowd realises that Bell has fluffed it and rises as one, part joy, part relief - I'll never get tired of watching that!
  12. What, Ben McGarry from Sligo Rovers?
  13. My personal favourite on RM today comes from "Redwhiteandblue". "Moshni done that without even thinking about it. It was pure instinct. He may be charged, but any good lawyer would get at worst a not proven verdict" I am willing to bet that Mr Redwhiteandblue is not actually in the legal profession.
  14. Having milked Rangers Media for all it's worth, I popped over to Kerrydale Street for a flying visit. Much as I hate seeing any Old Firm fan happy, I can't really grudge them this one, and some of the comments are proper belters. Now that's what I call GLOATING http://kerrydalestreet.co.uk/topic/9238986/1/
  15. Yeah, no harm in booting a ball between the trenches for a while. Normal hostilities can resume next season. My enemy's enemy is my friend!
  16. If we beat them 11-0 we'll still be a point behind them, and with a worse goal difference, but I'd take it. (I think it would be unrealistic to hope for a 12-0 victory. )
  17. I went for Sutton just because no-one else had so much as mentioned the poor sod's quickfire two-goal contribution as a sub fresh on the park. It is such a strange feeling to be so spoiled for choice after a match!
  18. "Heroes get remembered, but legends never die." A true inspiration for Motherwell. From almost the moment he arrived his teammates tried to emulate him, and they did not a bad job of it! As someone who witnessed his early training sessions said at the time, "It's as if skill was contagious". The years go by so fast, but the memories will never fade..
  19. Leanne be fucked, I might kiss you myself if this score holds up!
