This season has relegation written all over it , one of the most concerning things is the teams below us all have games in hand now
I was all for giving Kettlewell longer but the current run we are on is dreadful , we need 3 points from somewhere though at this moment in time not sure when it will be
-
Good to see Ryan Bowman doing well
A player who gave 100 % in his time at Fir Park
-
At times watching today I was thinking brutal , potentially 90 minutes wasted which I won’t get back
On reflection happy with 3-3 draw with 10 men as could have been worse
We really need 3 points badly or I think Kettlewell might be out of a job soon , I wouldn’t push the panic button just yet or no doubt we will end up with Richard Foster or David Clarkson in charge on an interim basis . One or two wins and they will be in the job full time
-
I wish David Turnbull all the best , hopefully he leaves the mob he plays for right now
If he does go to Milan or another team I hope he does well
-
Not that I think we should be going back to the past as I think we do that too often and should be looking to the future
I would though take Van Veen on loan, or a fit Louis Moult over some of the options we have at present
Looking onwards Saturday now is must win , Biereth and Obika starting as they are the best two options we have right now in my opinion

Graham Alexander’s Bradford 3-0 up

Thought we would lose by a few the way the season has been going . Into the second half and was hoping we could sneak a 0-0
Once Turnbull scored I thought this will be the same old hard luck story
Up steps Obika and things seem a bit more positive now . Really hoping we follow this result up today with 3 points next Saturday , nothing less

I see Alexander's record with Claret and Amber is not getting any better, 2 games in charge at Bradford and 2 defeats.
Bit better tonight for Alexander and Lucketti
5-1 up at the minute

Best of luck to Derek Adams , of course not if it is affecting us
Strikes me as a very decent guy , and done well for us. Might not have been everyone’s favourite but always put in a decent shift I thought

Graham Alexander beat 4-2 by Notts County , 2 defeats from 2
To be fair to him and Chris Lucketti Bradford seems like a poisoned chalice . Pull in great crowds for League 2 and should be much higher but been in the doldrums for years

Regardless of any images in the past I think it is time to stop all the pyrotechnics as someone will get seriously injured. I for one think the Bois do a great job creating an atmosphere
Anyone who set them off last night probably thinking Rangers fans at Dens Park , Celtic fans do the same and it is fine . I understand though if the club put a statement out I would hope people would listen
Something will happen like I say and someone will be injured at a game

Definetly wanted the 3 points before a ball was kicked though just glad we got the draw in the end, and another goal for Mika
-
Was never the biggest fan of Graham Alexander , though wish him well at our Claret and Amber cousins and hopefully do them a turn

Who has won two trophys since we last managed it in 1991? Us or Kilmarnock?
Who has beaten Rangers several times in the league since 2002? Us or Kilmarnock?
The answer to both questions is the same.
I’ll give you a clue…it isn’t us.
No doubt Killie will beat both Rangers and Celtic again , and probably pick up silverware before we do as our mindset as a club has been wrong for a good few years now in big games
I really hope I am wrong about Kettlewell , and he turns things around soon and too early to push the panic button . Not so sure though . Have to beat St Johnstone now . Hopefully get the 3 points
-
The subs definetly changed that game yesterday
Never thought I would be happy at scraping a point at home to Ross County , but after the way that game went it almost felt like a win
Looking forward to seeing more of Biereth , exactly the type of player we need
-
Seen Billy Davies has been linked to the Rangers job
In a way I hope Billy does not tarnish his name by joining them, although he did play for them briefly
In another way kinda think it would be funny if he was appointed, exactly not the type of manager they will be looking for

Delighted with the performance today , more of what I was hoping for
Today was an absolute sickener , our best chance to beat this mob in years , Collum though done us no favours though

Well we’ve managed to get draws with both of them in recent times, last season 1-1 at Parkhead and the season before 1-1 and 2-2 at Ibrox. But I was talking more about actually getting wins in this fixture. And Sunday there was just another in the latest of the long line of hard luck stories, particularly against Rangers.
How many times have we come out of those games saying “we deserved more” or “if only we had done this or not done that”?? It’s always the same old story for us, whether we get outright pumped or run them close but lose anyway. Other sides like like Killie, St.Johnstone, St.Mirren, Dundee Utd, Ross County even Accies have managed to record wins in recent times against one or both of them whilst we pat ourselves on the back for a supposed ‘brave’ showing in a narrow defeat or shrug our shoulders when on the end of a heavy pumping and tell ourselves that it doesn’t matter because of budgets etc
I agree with this , and mentioned it before in the past
Our mindset going in to these games in recent years especially is wrong, goes back to the whole punching above our weight patter which in a way we have been as a club , but in other ways you can look at Killie and other teams
Before anyone gets on their high horse not suggesting I would swap our league placings in the last 15 years or so , as believe we do well as a club . Though it can be frustrating if a team like Killie can beat both Glasgow mobs in a row at home but we usually always find a way to lose

No shame in losing 1-0 to that mob , though feel that is a chance missed to have got at least a draw today as Rangers were poor
Onwards and upwards , need to put in a positive performance in next week as well and hopefully pick up something
The main issue right now for me is definitely the lack of goals

They were yes, though those games won’t have any bearing on what happens this Sunday.
I do think though that this type of game is one that might, just might suit us and our style of play. We don’t have a recognised goalscorer but we do have a side that can frustrate teams who are better than us man for man. We saw that at Tynecastle the other week and we saw it at Celtic Park back in April, albeit with the advantage of having a proper striker on that occasion.
We say the same every time before these games but it’s vital that we don’t concede early here. The longer we frustrate them the better for us and the more their fans will get on their backs. I don’t see us not conceding but the longer we keep them out the better, and if we can get ourselves in front even better still.
Or we could just do our usual and get pumped 3-0.
You are right what you are saying
I do feel more confident playing away from home recently with the current Well team and results back that up
If we avoid losing early goal or two it will be a good thing. Best chance of a result tomorrow is if it 0-0 half time . The Ibrox fans will turn against the players if they don’t get a few goals against a diddy side like the Well in their mindset
-
Our record against both Oldco and Newco is horrid with the exception of play off games and one cup game at Hampden
Hopefully we can take advantage of a hard euro game for them and get very least a draw there
Sure after we drew 1-1 and 2-2 there couple of years back the games were both Sundays after they had played in Europe . Here’s hoping

Buzzing after that victory
All I can say is Well done everyone after the first 4 games. Enjoy your night every Well fan

Predictions before todays games
Hearts 1-1 Well
Rangers 2-2 Celtic
Aberdeen 2-0 Hibs
Of course I will be hoping for the Well victory so we can top the league for 2 weeks at least

See the Scottish Sun already talking about Lennon for the job when of course Kettlewell is still in the job
Take anything they say with a pinch of salt , Lambert and McCall two others mentioned
