Motherwell fans have often been divided, the fans who would support the team in League 2 or non league and still cheer them on, and others who think we should be top 3-4 every year and doing well in cups all the time When we were in Administration in 2002 most were all united in their support for the team regardless of the circumstances . 2002-2005 was a good era to follow our club because of this

All very valid points of course , and don't disagree I certainly would not want to be a steward getting paid peanuts confronting these people The flip side of the coin though is if it allowed to happen we will see more and more incidents, as people will think it is completely acceptable behaviour

Absolutely agree 💯 With regards to the steward getting punched in the face this should not be tolerated whatsoever when someone is trying to do a job

Can't say I heard any abuse directed at SOD from where I was sitting but I would be in favour of ejecting people if the abuse is overstepping the mark There is a difference between giving stick and being disappointed with a performance, and being downright abusive

Happy wee Billy is back in football with Morton Enjoy listening to his stories on podcasts etc. Regardless of anyone's opinion on him he has no doubt something to offer a club with his previous experience

Most important thing today is we won the game at the end of the day against a very experienced manager, never get too overly bothered about pre season results Remember getting gubbed 4-0 by Queen of the South , then drawing 4-4 with Celtic 1st game of the season Sure we got gubbed by Ayr also with McCall then finished second

Was the old Brandon Park back then and we were playing in the away top Shivute scored in at Ibrox the season before Sure a guy called Kevin Christie was playing and he made a very poor pass at one point , one of the players shouted Come on Kev FFS , something like that. Believe it to be Andy Thomson who sadly passed away months later

I have been bored with it if truth be told so I haven't been watching Bellshill away or Clyde away the week after is much more appealing to me
