One we were linked with I remember was Gazza . Sure I remember it was quoted we would use some of the gate receipts to fund the deal , was never ever happening . Ended up at Everton a few weeks later

Was a fan of both Brannan and Spencer , but definitely been more enjoyable times in the years since Main reason I was interested in reading as the late 90s/early 00s was probably the time when I was most obsessed with all things Motherwell. Looking back to the late 90s/early 2000s we signed some amount of dross back then Along with the likes of John Davies , there was Holm Kraska , Jered Stirling , Andy Dow , Gunni Johnson I think his name was , Karl Ready , Sasa Curcic , Kevin Christie . Sure there are many others For the amount of money invested that era , results over a 3/4 year period were overall quite poor with the exception of the 99/00 season
