there is as well a difference between being fit and being match fit, the fitness required for 90 minutes of 11 a side football is completely different to normal fitness. Even more so for a player who hasn't went through a proper pre season, it took Scott Mcdonald the best part of 6 months of week in week out football before he looked anywhere near match fit. If the chance does arise to sign him, absolutely we should be taking it.

Stephen Hendrie also had a good game I felt, ciftci and grimshaw were different class. Maguire and aldred never lost a ball in the air. As for the youngsters though, I think it speaks volumes about there performances that they went unnoticed, slotted in very very well. Turnbull unlucky not to have got on the score sheet

i think we will see kipre for at least another season, he has admitted himself that he enjoys it here, playing first team football. i think he is sensible enough to know that another season will only do him the world of good as opposed to sitting on the bench occasionally and playing for the u23's down south week in week out. highly doubt main will be going anywhere either.

with the kipre chat above, if you believe the daily record, it sounds as though kipre is set to sign ANOTHER contract extension, more long term this time.
