  1. Incidently the last time we had 6 wins on the trot, we beat hearts. The following week we played celtic.
  2. Going by reports Declan Gallagher has turned down st johnstone in favour of us on a two year deal.
  3. I seem to recall reading somewhere Mccormack is out for this one? maybe in the article about Hastie.
  4. Was there not talk of Lee Erwin earning something in the region of 10k a week whilst at Leeds?
  5. My livi supporting mate really rates him, think he is a fairly versatile defender as well.
  6. As expected, that's a whole host of clubs circling round Jake Hastie, Norwich, Leeds, West brom, Sunderland and Swansea. Hopefully takes a leaf out of Turnbulls book and realises the advantages of getting first team football under his belt.
  7. apparently we have offered Declan Gallagher of Livingston, centre back, a contract for next season
  8. all the usual suspects were excellent. I thought Gorrin was class in the middle of the park, he does the dirty side of the game so so well, and has the composure to regain possession after making the tackle. Also a mention to Main, who ran himself into the ground last night and deserved a goal, his hold up play was class last night, chased down every ball, the work he does at the top end of the park is second to none.
  9. Madness to suggest changing things up, for no other reason than you want to see more youngsters out there. Don't fix what's not broken. I reckon we will see another penalty against st Mirren. 4-1 well, Mccormack to get off the mark with a pen (hopeful thinking)
  10. Campbell is definitely not a well fan, I'm sure it was mentioned in an interview with Turnbull and himself with craigan.
  11. kind of wondered when he signed, whether or not mccormack would end up like Naismith, not in terms of what he offered us, but if he was to come up here, eventually start playing and more importantly enjoying playing football again, we could see the loan extended til the end of his villa contract (2020) a whole load of ifs, buts and maybes in there but villa are obviously happy just to have him away from the club, maybe not keen on the wages for another full season right enough.
  12. same starting eleven again, can't imagine Robinson will change a winning formula at the moment. In any case, unless injuries permit him to of course I think he would be mad too. Finally seems to have got the balance right, two wins, albeit a scrappy one at Dundee, I personally wouldn't want him to upset the rhythm and I doubt he would either.
  13. 'insiders' in fir park expect David turnbull to sign a two year extension.
  14. BBC gossip column has us linked with Jordan Rossiter on loan.
  15. Motherwell congratulated him on twitter and his Twitter says Motherwell player so i reckon that's just an error.
  16. Trevor carson, mark gillespie, Andy rose, Hartley until his injury. let's be honest if players could turn out 6/7/8 out of 10 every week, they wouldn't be playing motherwell.
  17. As much as I agree with you, unfortunately it isn't that easy. The pool of players isn't that big to pick from and if they are good enough every team in the spl will be after them who can pay much more money than we can. Seen last week rangers and norwich looking at some thistle youngster for a reported 400k. Shankland as well had 200k bids knocked back. So as nice as it would be, the Scottish contingency at our club will come from the young boys.
  18. I would also include Dunne in that list, grimshaw as well. Not been in the team every week but he has stepped up to the plate. Main was good last season and unfortunately just not hit the ground running, by no means a failure, i just loved ciftci, for that performance against accies.
  19. Well given Mccormack and ariyibi have been here all of 10 ten minutes, you can't judge. the keeper we had for a month, also can't be judged, the rest however have varying degrees of success, i certainly wouldn't call any of them a waste of money, neither did you in your original post? in all honesty, the only from the other 17 people with a question mark over his head is Gorrin, the rest played a huge part in our success last season and Gillespie proving he is a good keeper this term. Like I said if you expect all 25 players to be a massive hit then you need to re evaluate.
  20. This might just be me, but for a club like ours, who operate in the market that we do, 8 failures from 25 isn't actually all that bad. Every player we sign is a risk, some work some don't that is the nature of it. I reckon most clubs in world football would take a return similar to ours. Barcelona for example spent the best part of 300m on Coutinho, Dembele and Malcolm and they are looking to offload all three.
  21. Boly is a rm/rw not a cm. So McHugh Turnbull in the middle with frearand boly out wide, McCormack and dj up top
