thats true. the c & a are a bit easier on the eye than that bumble bee pish smellic have got. they must be doin a deal on them theres one one every street corner in lanarkshire!
Drove down to Tesco earlier on. Passed by the fives courts at Wishy sports centre and saw about a dozen of the so called 'Bumble Bee' efforts. Not my scene but hey ho.......... I've got a 'FULL' family over the back from me who constantly wear the 'poops' 7 days a week.......

I'll have a pint of what you're drinking, mate. I'd love to see a Motherwell victory against a bigot brother but I think not. It's a very young 'Well side that is only just learning to play together; hardly what you want against the Old Firm. 3-0 Rangers but hoping to be proved badly wrong.

The fact of the matter is, if the club were making money from housing the Mould Squirm in the Cooper then we wouldn't be in there. Simple as that. They didn't, so we've got it back (for now) Time to move on gents................

I hope Boyle has learned from his mistakes, for me there is still a lot of bridge building to be done between him and the fans, but he is getting there with the help of Leanne Dempster, never should a chairman try to maximise profit at the expense of his own fans, that will stick in my throat for some time, but we move on and what is happening at Motherwell is fantastic at the moment. Long may it continue
My thoughts exactly.......... I stopped going to Fir Park altogether (would have been my 30'th season as a Dosser) because of John Boyles stupid decision. Anyway, times change and the Cooper is back to Well fans only.
For what it's worth, I've been pleasantly surprised by the way JB has handled his custodianship of the club recently........
It's the start of a new era under Jim Gannon so let's all move forward. Onwards and Upwards.....

John 'Sailor' Hunter is 'THE' legend of Motherwell FC........... ( the club should know that surely)
Outwith that, we're playing a friendly against Manchester United (reserves, youth team ? who knows !!! )
Busby wisnae a Dosser, so I don't really care about him to be honest............
I will repeat though............
I wonder how many of our local 'councillors' will dip into their own pockets to see the game...................

The match isn't about Motherwell FC or Manchester United FC. It is about the whole new initiative that Lanarkshire (North and South) are starting up in the name of Sir Matt Busby. The reason why we're playing in the game is because as you say, we're the local "big" team. If United wanted to play a glamour friendly there are two clubs in Glasgow they would have played.
Instead they wanted to play a local club.
Why don't we all get in to the 'friendly' for free then since both North and South Lanarkshire Councils are involved in this ? I wonder how many of our local 'councillors' will dip into their own pockets to see the game...................
Why no mention of John 'Sailor' Hunter ?
