  1. Main was no where near as bad as some folk made out
  2. From what I understand, Lafferty has been told that he has no future at Ibrox and to find himself a new club...the 1st phone call he made was to Robinson.
  3. Thats pretty much it...its human nature. For long and sundry we've given our manager (and ultimately our players) the 'target' of, 'don't get relegated'. We continually tell anyone that'll listen, that we're a stepping stone, that we don't pay high wages, that our players are talking to other Clubs...with all that considered, its nae wonder that some players don't look like they give a shit when we comfortably meet our 'target', but miss out on the Top6.
  4. exactly...nae surprises what so ever, so why even bother mentioning it (Burrows) or reporting it (that shitey paper)?
  5. Thats pretty much what I done...my boy went up, even though I tried to talk him out of it. This happens every season to the teams with nothing to play for, and is one of the reasons I'm not convinced that expanding our league to 14 or 16 teams would help us in anyway, whenever that conversation comes up. Maybe I'm a weirdo, but I much prefer a relegation battle and 'the call to arms' that brings, than this 'race for 7th' pish.
  6. We'll all know Turnbull is a better player, but Ferguson is a good player in his own right
  7. Sounds like another match in the 'bottom6 dead rubbers' where our players have failed to turn up, and where our manager has made some questionable decisions with the starting line-up and substitutions...clearly its not just 'some' of the fans who view finishing 7th as that important in the grand scheme of things.
  8. Lewis Ferguson is decent competition for Turnbull...I've been very impressed by the boy any time I've watched him.
  9. Is it not a good thing, not to be paying agents fees? Apologies if that sounds completely stupid.
  10. I just find it all really boring...do I want us to win the fitba' match, aye...is it because we have the opportunity to finish 7th, naw...is it because we can win £60,000, naw... Just like selling a player for oodles of cash, doesn't excite me...finishing one place higher in the bottom deck for an extra players wage doesn't excite me either. You get yourself along to McDiarmid on Saturday though and scream your lungs out in the hope that our players, many of whom are leaving, will be encouraged enough to defend better than they have been recently.
  11. I understand the finances of the Club matter...however, its not a 'claim', its fact...I couldn't really care less where we finish, 7th, 8th or 9th. The season was over weeks ago as far as I was concerned.
  12. A must win, is when we are fighting relegation or chasing a european spot...a must win, for 'the chase for 7th'...jeeeeeesus
  13. I honestly don't see Turnbull being at Fir Park at the end of the next transfer window...unless someone loans him back to us
  14. I've no doubt that he'll be gone this Summer...hes far too good a talent for bigger clubs than us, not to take a punt on
  15. I get all that...its just doesn't excite me. I'll be at the match, if we score, I'll cheer, if we concede I'll be annoyed...if we win great, if we lose, hey ho.
  16. Or we could spend that £60k on resurfacing the car park... ...as I say, I just struggle to get excited about whether we finish 7th, 8th or 9th. Maybe its just me
  17. I'm a fitba fan...selling players, earning £60,000 in prize money doesn't excite me. I get that it is highly important to the moneymen at the Club, but it won't take away the feeling of tomorrow being another pointless exercise for me.
  18. He's been training with the club for weeks.
  19. They'll be forced to pay whatever the tribunal decides...but that could be a bit of a drawn out process.
  20. I remember how immature I was at 14...he's a wean, thats probably thought he was being the big man with his mates. He needed a wee fright, not the full ban that hes got.
  21. My reasoning for that is that hes a wee boy, whos had a moment of madness...hes 14 and would most likely learn his lesson from being banned for a handful of games, rather than being overly heavy-handed with our response
  22. That would be absolutely fair enough...I actually hope the 'indefiniteness' of the ban, has actually been conveyed to the kid that he'll be allowed back next season, as long as he keeps his nose clean
  23. No clarification required, I'm aware what 'indefinite' means...it means that the child is completely unaware what his punishment actually is.
  24. Here, here... ...we've got idiots on social media wanting him named, shamed and thrown into a pit with the Union Bears.
  25. The boy is 14...an indefinite ban for throwing a lighter is extremely heavy-handed in my opinion. Ban him for the rest of the season, make him apologise to Tavernier...but to ban the child for an indefinite period is ridiculous. These young boys stand and watch as the away support comes to Fir Park and does as it pleases, with their sectarian nonsense, the wrecking of seats and general intimidation around the ground and town, while almost always nothing is done about it. If we can pick out a wee boy who has thrown 1 lighter, why can't we do the same when Celtic trash the South Stand? The child has made a mistake, I'd hope his parents are livid with him, and that hes been banned off his Xbox...but part of me thinks that we are yet again bending over, to appease the Old Firm, the media and the SFA, AND we're making an example of a wean in doing so.
