  1. Anyway, Hastie back...who'd have called that? Not ideal, given the circumstance of his departure and hes not played much in the last 12 months, but even with his boots on the wrong feet and a covid-mask over his eyes, hes still better than Seedorf, so it's a positive footballing move...I think its lucky for him though that there will be no fans in the ground for a while
  2. Dean is more central, Maciver will get his chance, Starrs is a bit away
  3. Which young player would you like us to start wide on the right?
  4. You're right for once Weeyin
  5. That's all very well and good, and that doesn't make him the bad guy....spouting off in the media and trying to spin it in the direction of the club is what makes him look bad
  6. Looking forward to seeing the poor cunt unveiled outside the Brass Button
  7. Plenty words of wisdom being spouted on here as usual...but for me, Tait has made a total arse of his contract situation and hes made an arse of himself by trying to make the club look bad. Going by the two statements, it's pretty easy to see that Tait, is the 'bad guy' and that disappoints me, as I liked him a lot
  8. In these unprecedented times, I think it is in the best interests of the game...we help protect clubs from losing money unfairly and we dont make the game look as though its ran by clueless
  9. I wouldn't have let it get to this stage...but right now, the only fair way is to increase the size of the leagues
  10. I'm looking forward to everyone else realising it as well...rather than just shouting 'get tae fuck hearts'
  11. Pleading poverty is what we do...and to be fair, it works
  12. It's not national league level from what I've heard
  13. Mugabi hasn't been signed so that he can watch 18year olds from the stand, if that was the case, I'm sure he'd be given a deal to go. .. ...while Maguire and Donnelly are arguably midfielders, I'd imagine if everyone were fit from our midfield depth and we had a defensive crisis, it's more likely that either of them would fill in before two untried guys. In midfield, I think it's almost certain someone will move on, and that's why I hold out more hope for Cornelius than I do for the guys at the back. Oh, and Maguire has signed a new deal btw
  14. Devine and Hussain are the two youngsters that will be competing with Lamie, McGinley, Mugabi, Maguire and possibly Donnelly for the 'other' centre back slot beside Gallagher...I have a feeling that neither will see much 1st team fitba regardless of what Robinson has said previously, given the level of competition they have. As it stands, I'd think MacIver is about the only youngster (and by that I mean, youngster that hasnt properly broken through yet, and obviously not forgetting the ages of Campbell and Turnbull) with a shouting chance of regular game time and thats only because of our wafer-thin options in the forward positions at present - and from what I gather there is a forward on his way in shortly from our lower league hunting ground in England The likes of Cornelius and Semple, have the task of displacing Polworth, Campbell, Turnbull, Donnelly from our midfield which will be no mean feat, unless either injury, or more likely, we cash in on one of our bigger assets...and we dont go back for O'Hara. I know what the manager has said recently, but I'm almost of the opinion that our 1-18 is stronger (should we bring in the forward that I've heard named, and add a winger) than it was last season, and any youngster is going to find it tough going to get a crack.
  15. Maybe the latest batch arent good enough?
  16. We generally don't operate in that market
  17. Badly needing a striker...any on their way in?
