I'd actually think that with Paterson, Jack and Palmer called up, who can all play right back that there was no need for another one... ....as for centre back, if Gallagher on current form is one of our best 4 then we are Donald ducked as he has been honking this season

I very often disagree with your posts, but you have absolutely nailed it here. Regardless of your political persuasions, both the Westminster and Holyrood governments have a helluva job right now, and they are damned if they do, and damned if they don't. The constant moaning and sniping from the sidelines, at every single decision, is really tiresome.

Agree to an extent...I dont think I've ever been to a Motherwell match and not been entertained to some degree, even taking a pumping off the OF or whatever, I generally come away from a game feeling it was value for money. As you said, it's a 'my team' and I'm kicking every ball with them. On the flip side though, and maybe it's just me, but despite having followed them for 30odd years, I still feel that I'm a supporter of the team, rather than the club. I've little interest in the money we have in the bank or the names of the folk on the board, my sole interest is what is happening on the park.

That's not how these things work though generally...we could burst our wage budget out the park (and that's what it would be if we wanted to go toe-to-toe with Aberdeen over a player), he could go out the next week and get injured, we'd grab have a player on a contract that we probably couldn't afford and we would have an unhappy squad watching one player getting multiple times what the rest are getting

I dont think there is football manager anywhere on the planet who doesnt have his faults and doesnt get them picked apart by some of the clubs ultra-critical fans... ...certain things annoy me about the manager, and quite often I differ on my views of the same game that he is watching but surely folk arent serious when they think we should be sacking the guy at this early stage of the season after finishing 3rd (aye, that's where we finished Yodo) last time out?

A few more games? Hes admitted in todays papers that hes not attended any matches since the start of the season. Steve Clarke is proving himself to be the idiot, that I believe he is by including two Motherwell players who have been shite this season.
