Heard from a source at Morton that Stuparevic is also out for the season, ripped his hamstring off the bone! He didn't play at the weekend so that stacks up! I'd expect an update on it from our media team during the loan update for November which must be due anytime now.

Totally appreciate and understand comments and criticism on here about SK being "over-cautious" with his 6 defender approach however it's evident from his summer business and setup he is setting us up not to lose heavily which has been successful in every game we have lost so far this season. The same people would be up in arms if we played an attacking 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 and started getting pummeled by 4 and 5 goals....canny win!

Even a 5-0 win would have some moaning and complaining about SK! Unbelievable Jeff!

Who's actually going to do a better job working within our budget? SK has his faults, as do we all - I personally think his substitutions on Sunday were wild and effectively gave Rangers the tie however if we are being brutally honest with ourselves we had no right to be in the semi final given what we spend on wages/players compared to practically any other club in our league, he got us there and for that you have to praise the guy. I think it's also abundantly clear and perfectly highlighted last season when we went on our long run without a win that he has full respect from the players and has yet to lose the dressing room, the same can't be said for his predecessors who lost the dressing room on a similar run to what we were on last year. Nice guy into the bargain, I think we have a decent gaffer at the helm all things considered.

Montgomery getting injured is exactly why we can't rely on clearing out 6 to sign KVV - we need to sign 2 strikers so we have cover. The way this season is going we would sign KVV and he would do his knee in training. As much as I 'd like the big man back, we need depth.

One must ask if we are struggling to bring a striker in, why did we let Wilkinson go in pursue of first team football? He would play every week between now and end of season if we fail to bring someone in this window. Granted he was rotten but better than nothing!
