Yeah lets not rely on a striker doing what he's paid to 6 yards out and straight at the keeper.
He's been shite recently, yes, but we have bigger problems. KVV could score every game, but we would still continually concede easily preventable goals due to shite defenders.

games died on its arse. you can blame defenders, but Van Veen really should have had us in front.
We can't rely on one striker to do everything, but that's exactly what we've been doing recently. We have no alternatives.

Sol and Lamie are pish. So easy for Duk to get between them. Utterly embarrassing.

I gave an honest opinion based on his performance so far.
Delighted he's scored, it was a fantastic finish.
He has been pretty underwhelming since signing, but perhaps this is the start of a turnaround for him now.

Totally agree. Wtf are they getting coached. Same mistakes every week. Looking forward to Stevie saying it was disappointing fir about the 20th time in an interview, it we trained well through the week and are prepared. He is deluded.
He needs to bollock all of their lazy fuckin heads off before he too loses his job. No more mr nice well guy, please.

We are generally shite and have been for almost a year, so this inability to do simple things should not surprise anyone. Barring the short-lived new manager bounce, we have reverted to type. We need to replace about 90% of this lacklustre squad, as we have nothing to offer on the park or off the bench. Hammy needs to pull a rabbit out of the hat soon.
-
Anyone got a stream? Decided to stay at home today.

What are Moult’s injury problems over these past several years and now?
-
We can't defend, we have no bite or leader in the middle, and we can't score from open play. This is going to be a tough game.
-
Hammell inherited one the biggest piles of shite squads I've ever witnessed and then got a new manager bounce out of them, but then the pile of shite has reverted to form. That's where we're at now.
We are generally complete and utter mince and have been for almost a year, and that's why GA is gone. We can't score, and we can't defend, and it's not just against Rangers and Celtic. The squad is devoid of any real ability or the intensity required to compete in this league, which becomes more apparent against the top two teams. Some of these players and their efforts are embarrassing.
Hammy has a tough job, and that job is now only to keep us in the top 10 and then start again next season. It's going to be a long season.

Shields ball-watching there and let his man run off him

Yep. Shields offers nothing. I've been saying this for a long time. He's useless and should be embarrassed when he's forced to watch a replay of that goal.

They'll win by at least 5. To suggest otherwise is just naivety.

Agree. Said at the beginning I thought he was the wrong choice. Apparently its still all Alexander's fault that we aren't playing well? Because it was his team? Completely disagree. Alexander came in and inherited Robbos team and kept us up and got us to fifth and I completely understand it. We were playing poor football under Alexander and the relationship between him and some of the fans had broken down but seriously. Every week I go on twitter and Facebook and all I see is, results will come and we are playing good football.
Good football means zero when you are in a relegation scrap. We absolutely appointed on sentiment and it's not working. I seriously hope he proves me wrong but at this point I don't think he will . And if Hammell didn't have enough time in the transfer window due to the late appointment you can blame that on the board for dragging the situation out. Seriously just no. Last season and the way Alexander went was hard enough. We deserve better considering how expensive it is to go to a game when you are on a low income (and I'm one of these people).
Are you okay?

3 league goals scored at home so far this season.
1 OG, 1 penalty and 1 free kick.
Literally not score in open play half way through October...
Moult isn't the answer, sadly.

Lack of activity in the transfer window will come back and bite us on the arse we are powder puff up front
I've said previously that it’ll take at least 2 transfer windows to recover from the mess GA created. Hammell was screwed today by a lack of options and his inexperience.

Efford has found his form and best position under Hammell, and he is streets ahead of Morris. We missed the former today.

Lots of below par performances, but they were 3 of the worst
Tierney is wasteful, McKinstry needs to start stepping up, and Morris needs to be booted into the distance.

We don’t deserve anything from this game. My only hope is that these types of atrocious performances teach Hammell a few lessons.

Rangers never have to try to beat us. We often gift it to them. When will we ever learn?!
-
Five players failed to tackle him. Embarrassing.
-
This should be the last we see of Morris. Zero effort from him so far. Offering nothing in attack and not protecting McGinn from the Kent/Barisic overload.

This game has 352 written all over it. We need to take it to them. Rattle them.

If Hammell doesn't come out and give an honest assessment of the state of things and the plans he has to fix it, he's going to start coming under a lot of pressure from fans very soon. This piss poor squad and their pathetic performances will see us relegated.
