Far from perfect, but two great goals and a noticeably more pragmatic approach. Plenty of positives to take as we look to Saturday.

You just stand at the turnstile, scan each person through one at a time, and then you go in last.
-
But what about the shoots on goal...
-
There’s more to the VAR problem than inconsistent interventions and questionable decisions. It disrupts the live match experience to the point where fans can’t even celebrate goals in the moment, because every goal now comes with a long pause while everyone waits to see if it actually counts. It’s sucking the joy out of the game and, at the end of the day, money talks. If this carries on, fans will talk with their feet, and once they start staying away, it will be very hard to get them back. Club chairmen need to act quickly and come together to get rid of this shite before the damage is permanent.

I’ll still be going because I’m a longstanding season ticket holder, but I think I’ll genuinely hesitate before renewing next season. VAR and the clowns running it have ripped every bit of spontaneity and enjoyment out of going to the football. It’s supposed to be entertainment, and instead we’re standing about waiting on decisions nobody in the ground can understand. We’re being taken for absolute mugs, and I’m sick of it.

We’re being sold a sham in Scotland that would never fly in the English top flight, yet we just sit and accept it every week. Budget VAR tech, incompetent officials, and plastic pitches. I’ve had enough.
-
VAR has no business ruling on offside decisions until there are at least two correctly placed cameras on both sides of the pitch.
-
VAR is ruining football and the stadium experience for supporters. Get rid of it before the fans walk away.

2 shots on target and 2 goals. That was a very, very important win for JBA and the team.

So the KMI panel has confirmed yet another VAR mistake. https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/media/13663/10-kmi-23rd-october-matches-18th-19th-oct-2025-outcomes.pdf As I've said before, the KMI panel doesn't actually change anything. It just highlights mistakes we already know about, offers no accountability, and is a complete waste of time. Brilliant.

There's more chance of Jim Paterson solving the striking issue.
-
JBA still has plenty of mistakes to make and lessons to learn, just like the players who keep making individual errors. That’s football. He should also know by now what needs to be done in January to strengthen both defence and attack.
-
VAR technology itself isn’t really the issue in Scotland. It’s the absolute clowns operating it and the total lack of accountability. It’s ruining the matchday experience to the point I’m genuinely considering not renewing my season ticket until either (a) it’s scrapped, or (b) the officials somehow stop being utter morons.

	What have I done?!
-
Yes. He’s earned all the credit he’s had so far, and I’m fully behind him. But that doesn’t make him immune to criticism. Credit where it’s due, and the same applies the other way, because he got it badly wrong at the weekend.
-
As I said above, it comes down to poor game management from JBA. Koutroumbis should’ve been replaced by SOD at halftime, but instead, he waited until it was too late.
-
It’s a football forum built on differing opinions, and it would be dull without them. What you call a meltdown is just part of the fan forum dynamic.

We’re not winning this one. We’re toothless up top, our final ball is generally pish, and the defence is soft with a dodgy keeper behind it. All we’ve really got going for us is some tidy midfield play that rarely leads anywhere. Martindale won’t need to do much. He’ll just let us play in front of them and wait for the usual daft mistakes that gift them a goal or two. If we do lose, the midweek game against Dundee Utd before the semi turns into a cup final for us. The pressure’s on JBA and the players now.
-
First things first, I’m fully on the JBA train and long may it continue. But I honestly can’t remember the last time I was as angry after a game. That second half was appalling. Forget VAR re-refereeing it and robbing Said of a great goal. Where do you even start? Koutroumbis was rotten, Hendry was blowing out his arse, and nothing was sticking for Just. It was glaringly obvious to me, and probably everyone else and their dug, except JBA, that they should’ve been hooked at half-time for SOD, Stama and Charles-Cook. It was clear Falkirk were going to come flying out the traps after the break, and they did. They battered us for ten minutes while we sat off them and waited to concede. Then I actually saw JBA telling the team to drop back. WTF? We’re haemorrhaging points left, right and centre, and it can’t continue. JBA was outfoxed by McGlynn, and it’s becoming ever clearer he’s got no plan B. The next two games before the semi-final are massive for him and the team.

	With himself I hope.

That game was lost by the start of the second half, and the blame rests squarely with the manager.
-
I can see why he’s gone out on loan as he wants regular starts, but choosing Raith was daft. He’s never displacing Lewis Stevenson. What a waste.
-
The joys of West Central Scotland.
-
Ironic, considering most Rangers fans don’t even support Scotland.
