  1. Plastic hard men. Identify them, prosecute them, and ban them indefinitely.
  2. Let’s hope that’s the last we see of that incompetent, loathsome fraud anywhere near the Premiership.
  3. Ah well, we’ll just have to win the Scottish Cup instead.
  4. A comfortable home win is a must, though there’s probably more chance of Ward scoring than either of our two strikers.
  5. NEW STRIKER PLEASE. We finally put a good ball into the box at the end and, once again, our nearly-man fluffed it.
  6. I said beforehand that away from home I’d happily take a draw, especially if it came with another clean sheet. Add a competent striker in January and we’ll start turning these draws into wins.
  7. Goodwin’s overhyped and Dundee United are average at best. This should be a game where JBA gets the better of his opposite number. An away win and another clean sheet would be brilliant, but I’d take a draw if it keeps the run going.
  8. Let’s hope we keep playing that way, because he’s certainly not one of the best collectors of crosses or shots we’ve ever had.
  9. I’ve been one of the more vocal critics of Ward since he came in, but credit where it’s due. He’s done what’s been asked of him, taken risks and clearly improved. Our best form of defence is keeping the ball, and he’s been integral to that.
  10. Likely Balmer and Ox. JBA keeps mentioning Halliday’s recovery, so he’s potentially in the plans as midfield cover. Halliday might be alright with that too. He’ll get minutes once he’s fit since JBA rotates a lot. Not the worst bit of cover if he’s willing to play the JBA way. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if all three moved on.
  11. He’s a charlatan and a prick. I called it ages ago.
  12. If Robinson can’t get the better of Nancy and his wee magnetic tactics board, he might as well call it a day.
  13. I’m more concerned for that poor water bottle.
  14. You should ask the Killie fans this question. I am thoroughly entertained. Credit to all involved.
  15. I’m not saying he doesn’t contribute. He does. The issue is that he keeps missing chances you’d expect a number 9 to put away. The header yesterday wasn’t the sitter; that was the chance he fluffed just before it. The comments on the header are more about the fact he couldn’t even get it on target. He just doesn’t do the bread and butter of a striker, which is burying those chances.
  16. If Stama suddenly comes good in his third season in 2026/27, I’ll happily eat my hat. But the writing’s been on the wall for a while now, and we’re clearly not getting the return on a three-year investment that most of us thought we would.
  17. He also missed a header from a set piece just before half-time. Not as bad as Hendry’s missed header, but still one you’d expect him to at least get on target. His penalty return and overall effort are great, but like I keep saying, we need a proper number 9 to take the chances he keeps spurning. At the moment it doesn’t look like Stama or Hendry is that man. We’ll be fine though as we’ve got goals coming from across the team.
  18. Tremendous. We’re winning the league.
  19. Yep, well done Stama. Another penalty in the bag.
  20. Yep, it’s the same old problem with him. A number 9 has to finish those chances.
  21. You can add the glorious chance he missed around the 27–28 minute mark today to his ever-growing list of missed sitters. Look back through the threads and you’ll find plenty of references to his constant spurned chances, which is why he ended up with the “nearly man” nickname.
  22. Right then, which one of you is Marcus?
  23. Stama’s inability to score from anything other than the spot has nothing to do with our system. He’s had chance after chance under different managers and setups, and he keeps fluffing them for reasons we’ve all gone over already. At this point he’s just an expensive investment who hasn’t delivered what you expect from a number 9. As for Hendry, I’m starting to think the jury isn’t out anymore and that he might not cut it either. We’re not short of goals right now, but we still need to go out in January and sign a proper striker.
