  1. So my basic point is and I'll be very clear about this if any player strolls into motherwell I don't care how good they are if they have an attitude if I don't like the manager and that's going to affect how much effort that is put on when they have a motherwell Jersey on that player and any player like that can get out the door and asked to never return. It's why I didn't want KVV back as well when others where furious we weren't putting in for him.
  2. I have heard from someone trustworthy that SOD went to higher ups and complained about Hammell and let's remember Alexander dropped him because he was Guff inthink Alexander treated him how his performances in a motherwell shirt warrant him to be treated. If I took over tomorrow he'd be first out the door.
  3. And said footballing genius should be out the door with him.
  4. There's Steven odonnel which I've heard folk say he had issues with Alexander and Hammy I'm also sure he'd a thing with Robbo. Which if the case we can't keep someone who's gonna choose who he will and won't play for. Remember when the players down tools for the manager they down tools for us the fans and the club as a whole.
  5. Well I hope he's not lost the dressing room if he has there's some guys in that dressing room who have now fell out with 4 managers. And those players should perhaps be moved on
  6. I feel bad for Scotty he's got to talk to him after the game
  7. Thanks tbf no one got pass marks last week so if casey had a go at Kettlewell it's pot and kettle to me. I expect to see some massive changes in approach this week however as we've simply put not been good enough since the turn of the year
  8. Read some people posting about casey and sk falling out whats the story?
  9. I'm so glad this is the response of a man paid thousands while I spend my last £60 of my wage to go watch that shit show he and his players produced and my opinion means hee haw. Taxi for Kettlewell should we have a whip round to cover his sacking?
  10. You don't want us to be difficult to play against and a big physical unit? It's what our budget can afford and it gives us a better chance than whatever our current mob are doing
  11. I think we had some games last season where we were a great watch livi at home in December springs to mind also rangers away. but we also had that 18 game spell of not winning a game. Like the revisionist history is we were unlucky not to catch top 6 but the facts are when you go that many games not winning in a row you're not gonna catch it and don't deserve to either. I'll be honest the goodwill on my end for the guys gone. I've endured about as much of him as I can take from a footballing perspective its gonna take more than a win on Saturday to get me off the Kettlewell out bandwagon. I genuinh am just not a fan of the football we've played since the end of the first spell he had a couple years ago.
  12. I think the time in the middle like under Robinson I generally felt we played better football than we've ever played under Kettlewell. I think the league finishes Robinson achieved over his 3 full seasons we won more points and finished higher okay we were 10th when he left but that was the covid season and I would also include he got us our best run of results in Europe that season in a long time which Kettlewell looks as though we'll be what Hamilton were when they were here if we persist. The Kettlewell system has looked suspect for so long and he's failed to change it.
  13. I'd disagree I think Robinson is twice the manager Kettlewell is and I'd actually regard Robinson as our best manager in my lifetime (I'm 28) I think for the situation he took us over from to what he did I always felt we were heading in the right direction he has his flaws but was overall a great manager
  14. I'll chip in here I've never liked Kettlewell brand of football since we lost the squad he had when he took over from Hammell I don't think we've ever hit the heights we did there or approached anything close to it. I'm not going to name call him I do think our issues are a bit more complex than just the manager but the brand of football we play is unacceptable. And If Kettlewell won't change it then he has to go as its that bad. I'm sorry but it is. we are so boring and dull and I would like to see stats on goals from open play as we must be one of the worst for that. My wish for motherwell is we start from a base of being hard to beat and play some decent football doesn't need to be tiki taka but we should be able to play a pass here and there that splits a defence or can tackle in midfield and defend at the back. We should ALWAYS have 11 Nasty buggers on the pitch with 1 or 2 young players in amongst to develop and sell for a fee. That should be our model yes we need squad players but at minimum they should be able to play when called upon football is a squad game at the end of the day. this we struggled due to missing x numbers of regular starters is BS everyone at the club should be raring to play and at this point of the season know the system they're expected to play. If Kettlewell can't do the above which I think is what can reasonably be expected from motherwell then he can't hang around talking about we signed guys who's values line up with our philosophy we're a football club not a social work. I mean this in the nicest possible way the only thing I care about from our players Is what they do on the pitch not that they're lovely blokes off it.
  15. I can't see us getting anything here and truth be told after last weeks performance I'm still feeling insulted and let down by a large number of our playing squad. There are guys on that dressing room who need moved on and we need to as a club have a long hard look at ourselves and footballing departments whether we win or lose or draw this game. That being said can see the players giving a reaction to try take the sting out so I'll predict we win and go back to our usual standards in 2 or 3 games time.
  16. It's been a long time since I've been as disappointed in motherwell as I was last night I usually keep the head but we are honestly shit. The players after yesterday showed how much respect they have for our club and our fans and honestly every single one of them Kettlewell included can pick up their coats on the way out and I'd ask them not to darken the door of fir park again. Honestly pitiful. My highlight was I fell asleep in the second half because it was that poor and I was ill the worst part was when my friend woke me up to endure more of it. I don't care what we do next week or the rest of this season I want a clear out and those players were so bad I'd put them all in jail if I could and throw away the key. A disgrace to a man. No passmarks. It's a good laugh isn't it
  17. Feel we watched a different Lamie if you think he did 90% right he was a bombscare
  18. Don't think it's just injuries its sticking with guys who are out of form or should be rested. If I was the manager I'd tell Wilson he's out the team for the next few weeks as I'm sorry but his performance was one of the worst I've seen in a fullback since straker playing for us yesterday. I'd said within 10 minutes of play I'd take him off the now. Sheer basics not being done for his position. Tactically what was our gameplay against hibs? It seems our game plan was in football manager terms sit with a deep line and play for set pieces. Are hibs really that much better than us that we can't have a go or try to impose ourselves a little. Slatterys free kick was our only positive highlight in 90 minutes we were dreadful. Also I would love to hear Kettlewell on why he went with Jack Vale over Maswanhise as he's been our best attacking option all season and when we play him up top he has a bit of skill and can get a shot off. Stephen odonnel sold the Jersey within 10 minutes of us getting a way back in the game. I mean utterly pathetic from a player of his experience. Yesterday can be summed up as dreadful and every player on that pitch should hang there head in shame for how they've performed since the turn of the year. I'm not scapegoating just pointing out how absolutely awful we were and the negative tactics don't help matters
  19. I think for me under Kettlewell it feels like we never really get going under him. Okay injuries happened but all clubs get them. But it feels like we are such a poor side to watch. Like against his withing 20 minutes I'd remarked to my friend weve had a good day to the football before the football happened. It's not just the last 4 games where we've oozed poor outside of a total of 48 minutes of football 45 against Aberdeen and 3 against hearts at the tail end. Outwith the games against Hearts in August, 4-3 against united and 2-2 with rangers I would be lying if I said I can even see what we're tactically trying to do. When he first took over he was excellent that run was as good a time watching motherwell as I can remember and there were points last season we looked good when Spittal and Bair worked a good partnership. I'm not saying we have to have long waves of sweeping attacks every week but a bit of gumption would be appreciated. It shouldn't take 50 minutes to get a half shot against our opposition in any game of football we play in.
  20. I predict to be drowning my sorrows after this one.
  21. Unfortunately I bought mine and my friend's tickets yesterday I may need some new friends on Thursday
  22. We absolutely shat it. Our second half performance was terrible, absolutely turgid the basics not even being done right the odd time we got forward no one’s there to take a pass or to relieve pressure on any of our forward players so disjointed. When rangers had the ball at points we would have 4-5 players not marking or trying to cut off passing lanes. We beat ourselves. Shambles today. That being said our players and manager did well to get us to this stage of the cup I’m just disappointed we didn’t give a better account of ourselves over the 90 minutes but Kaleta is a baller and has had consistent pass marks from me for the last 3 games. Wilson equited himself well today I thought.
  23. Glad we’re back to real football this weekend can’t stand international breaks but hopefully another week of training and rest has us better and hopefully another 3 points here before we go on to give Brendan and his boys a lesson next week. COYW
