I always think when we sack managers who’s out there that’s better. Kettlewell we at least play some decent football. Something we didn’t do under Hammell after the christmas break. And hadn’t done under Alexander at all. people talk about pedigree but let’s be honest our options are young up and coming managers or old heads who have failed elsewhere im always in the camp of a young manager who’s willing to work and improve and give them a chance like Robinson and Alexander and Baraclough where even Kettlewell. Those are more ambitious appointments than appointing say Tommy Wright or John Hughes.

I genuinely think Mugabi isn’t a bad cb. He’s guilty of having the odd bad game but he’s usually not bad and does offer a goal threat from set pieces

And now 1-0 down put it on at work to listen to and now wishing I hadn’t bothered. Sounds of it we’ve not offered much going forward is that about right?

Surely giving some young boys a go in natural positions would be better than playing folk out of position. Spittal and Blair showed they can be a good partnership we should be encouraging that surely

Either a draw or a win would be a good result for us away from home. I do think if we can find some pace and feed the ball through to Bair I think we’ll come out good.

In all fairness to bair I think he might be coming into a game he got an asssist couple weeks back for bierith against st Johnston and looked threatening against st mirren and he was great in the first half today and involved in all 3 goals.

I think the real Theo bair is being held under the main stand and Kettlewells found a look a like who can play. Seems a much more plausible explanation

Seen in the championship Cedric Kipre having a game against Leeds some good physical defending from the big man and Marvin Johnson scored a winner for sheff wed against Preston. closer to home a certain Mr Tony Watt scored a goal against Partick and former captain Declan Gallachers playing as well big day for former players getting featured on the TV.

I guess I don’t know what the best way of setting this team up is. I try to just trust the people employed by the club to do that. I am quite critical of our recruitment but there’s only so much changing managers we can do really before we become an unattractive proposition for managers.

I’m expecting internally to be disappointed but I acknowledge we’re not down until we’re mathematically down.

I had to watch the game on sky I thought the goals we gave away were poor. I don’t think we troubled there keeper at all and our best chance was slatterys distanced effort that went just wide. Punished for 2 of our mistakes today in the first half. But our season won’t be defined by what we do against rangers or Celtic this season. 4 points needed from the next two onwards and upwards Mon The Well.

That’s more or less what I’m saying, we signed some decent players under Robinson and Foyle they weren’t all perfect there were a few duds but The goals we conceded today have been horrendous.

Sometimes you just don’t have people good enough to play the first team I’m the youth academy or it’s a struggle to keep them here as if they have real promise they’re gonna go elsewhere unfortunately.

Our recruitments been poor for years though. Under Robinson we had a scattergun approach and maybe found a couple good players in the bunch. Since then we’ve signed who we have now I lay the blame on the door of Daws and our recruitment team personally.

I didn’t think we should have let him go at the time but I doubt he’d come back. I’ve heard he’s on at least double what we can afford to pay him at St Mirren. We need a good clear out and refresh at the club some fresh ideas and fresh faces. I’m not convinced the managers fully at fault.

Defends has been atrocious. Mugabi is on sima and o donnell isn’t on anyone. Watching on sky from work. We need to get the finger out here we’re gonna be punished if we keep this up.

Just thought I’d chime in as we’re about the halfway point of the season. As much as people have made about our poor quality up front Wilkinson Bair etc as a side we’ve scored 20 goals across the first 18 games which is not bad going really looking at the league excluding the 2 Glasgow sides were in terms of goals scored we’re about middle of the pack having out scored hearts in 3rd. where it starts to get grim is our defending. We’ve got the leakiest defence in the league having conceded 29 goals, our main area of improvement has to be in defence as that’s what’s costing us wins and I’d expect the manager to know that. I would be judging the next 7 days as we would ideally be looking for 4 points out of the next week for me. Kettlewell has to start finding some solution to this run and at least starting to win our home games if he’s to save his job and our club from relegation. i don’t think we’re gonna be looking for a new manager this season I have every faith we’ll see the required results at pittodrie and against livi, I just hope we recruit players smarter moving forward.

I’ve thought the well society should and could be incentivised a bit more to get people to sign up I’m thinking membership cards give us some kind of discount at the shop or some money off our season cards or something. I do think on certain matters we should be polled as the well society on matters like moving from fir park (which I’d always vote against),building a training centre, use of funds and where they go on our priorities.

Absolutely gutless there’s players in that team that have been complicit in getting 3 managers sacked and should be shown the door alongside the manager, our captain amongst them.

We go in hope they’ve had a few extra days to rest and prepare but we’ve got to turn this form around some time. Hopefully tomorrows the day a cheeky 1-0 win would suffice

Not won in last 10 that’s right and it’s the truth but we’ve had runs like this before we’ll turn it around hopefully starting Saturday with 3 points against Dundee
