I really think it's OTT to say this, the guy only signed 4 days ago! We had a shit result & performance today, but it certainly wasn't the 1st time this season. I admit it's 1 of the fears I have myself that Faddy coming in could have a detrimental effect on the team as a whole, but I still believe it will have the more positive effect in the long run. Far too early for talk of 'casting big shadows' I feel.

Well we're never going to have the opportunity to be within an 80,000 crowd but I don't see why that should mean we should be excluded from using smoke bombs. There were a few let off in the little square in Valencia when there were only a couple of hundred 'Well fans there & I thought it was magic.

In that case then would agree it was out of order if someone deliberately threw 1 at a steward. Again, as I wasn't there, can't really know if that was their intention or not.

I like smoke bombs, think they add to the atmosphere. Was not there so don't know the circumstances in which they were let off, but if what you say is correct, there is no need to be throwing them at stewards. If it did happen though, is there any chance the stewards were being c**ts beforehand?

1st time listening today, was just glad to be able to hear live commentary tbh. Did think there was an element of bias towards us but that's to be expected. Will give it a few more listens before making judgement on the guys providing the coverage. My only gripe is I use a tablet at home (personal laptop is dead) & I have never been able to access MFC TV on it, put in my logon details but never allows me in. Have logged on today using my work laptop without any problems. Can you only access on the device you originally logged on to it on?

Got a feeling we might just beat Celtic on Wednesday, don't know why! Last few times we've played them we've been in decent form, this time we're not. Think Faddy will start , he will be right up for it & so should the rest of them after what sounds like a bit of a horror show today.

Hoping McCall gets tore into them at HT & they come out all guns blazing 2nd half. Sounded pretty poor 1st half, ref not helping although not sure how biased the commentary is. No reason why we can't turn this around, get intae them!

Great win against our favourite opponents! BBC report saying Higdon tapped in Ojamaa's mis-hit shot? Thought it was a great cross myself after a brilliant turn & run. Matters not either way, 3pts, 3 goals (2 for that donkey Higdon ) & a clean sheet to boot. I'm a happy camper

Totally agree, from what I've heard & read it sounds like today was 1 of our better performances. The contract situation is worrying but what will be will be. I've already accepted the players I would like to sign new deals won't be doing so.

Listening to Leann on sportsound on Tuesday, your point on teams catching up quickly & in a few years then being in a position to make the league more interesting is exactly how she plans to sell their proposed reconstruction to the fans. The difference being that she seemed to be saying the proposal would be a kind of stepping stone to allow the other teams to catch up, as they are not currently in a position to compete at the moment. Guessing the fairer financial distribution model would be the vehicle for them being able to do this. That's what I took from it anyway. Whether this is all just the sales pitch to push it through & there is no real appetite for any extended top flight, who knows.

Problem is if all kick offs are 3pm Sat & 7.30 midweek there won't be any TV money to split. Would be happy with a 16 team top tier but would prefer 2 18s with 2 up, 2 down & a playoff scenario, possibly 15 & 16 from top div & 3 & 4 from 2nd playing for place in prem. Would also like to see the introduction of a pyramid system. Trying to keep an open mind for time being & hoping the board will be open & honest as to why they see this 12-12-18 thing as the best option at this time as it does seem pretty crazy.

Another 3 week gap between games is the most disappointing thing. Hopefully we'll return to action again with a victory at Killie!

As far as I understand it, the 'next stage' is passing it over to the SFL clubs to make their decision. As the board's statement makes clear they have already decided this is what they think is best for the game at this time, the meeting on Saturday is for them to outline to supporters why (& hopefully how) they have come to this decision.

"It is now our intention to share what we heard today with our supporters so we can have the same discussion and outline why it is our view this is the best option for the game at this time".Think it's clear from the above quote that the board are far from undecided but at least they are planning to make their reasoning known to supporters.Will be interesting to hear the details behind why they have taken this view.

Would be delighted if we could get him signed up again, he's been outstanding for us. Still think it's a long shot, he deserves to be on a more lucrative deal & not sure we're in a position to offer him enough. Here's hoping though!

I did see Randolph in Sainsburys Hamilton on Christmas Eve with his mum & dad. His trolley was full of cleaning materials & not much else, did have me worrying that he was getting ready to clean up his pad before moving out. Could just be that he's a messy bugger though & his mum was going to do a massive clean for him while she was here visiting! His dad is very tall!
