4 match suspension for his “dive” Wild
  2. I think you need to look beyond the points in the league and the cup games. Jens arrived at a club that let’s be honest was playing terrible football and had essentially become a bottom six team that might just survive if we get a decent run. Within a summer he totally transformed our style of play, exciting to watch, hard to beat and holding onto the ball for long periods of games. Comfortably into the top six and have an outstanding chance of Europe. You have to look at where we have come from to judge how good he has been.
  3. Teams are starting to work us out. But the fact that Hibs are coming to Fir Park for the draw says a lot. We look a wee bit tired but we are at that stage of the season where energy levels can start to drop. I think with the break coming up and then Falkirk at home then we might be 9 points clear with one to go for the spilt. Which would be ideal.
  4. Also back on topic, beat Hibs, consolidate 4th and chase down Hearts for third as I fully expect them to collapse.
  5. Don’t agree with that at all. He has totally transformed the national side and Hampden is the hottest ticket in town. He has brought Miller into the team and done the same with Hickey, Doak and now Curtis. If someone said we would get a manager that qualified for 3/4 tournaments he competed in would bite your hand off for that.
  6. I thought some of our football was excellent today. Watched it on Celtic Tv and Peter Grant was full of praise for us. It was a pen, but the red card was awful, terrible decision that has changed the game. We lacked a bit of cutting edge up front today and were wasteful in good areas. But our play from the back to midfield was outstanding. Keep playing the way we are then 3rd or 4th is achievable which let’s be honest would be a fantastic result for the club. Just got to keep building this style of play into next season as I’m sure it will bring success to the club.
  7. Elbow in the baws is an elbow in the baws. No hiding from that. The boy knew he was fucked with his reaction. End of the day Goodwin is an absolute shite bag. Came to Fir Park for a draw. No believe in his team. I give him two weeks.
  8. They could do the double, that’s the question though, do you take potential cup success over long term success in the league. Hard one to pick to be honest.
  9. Reading the Pie and Bovril thread got me thinking. Would you: A. Take a cup win and a potential relegation dog fight in the league with the risk of relegation in the play off and add to that nearly a full season of poor football. Also a manager out of ideas and the team turning stale and need a full re build in the summer. or B. No cup win, but an incredible season of high quality football week in week out with the genuine chance of winning the title and a complete change in football philosophy at the club that could be implemented into the future. What would you pick?!!
  10. Dundee Utd have improved slightly, but I think we might have enough to see them off at home. They also have the cup game the weekend after to think about…might rest some players.
  11. That was an absolute joy to watch. Probably the best footballing performance from any team in the league this season.
  12. How do you buy tickets for this game?
  13. Obviously winning a cup is better than European games and I really doubt Jen’s was thinking that when he selected his team. He has rotated before and it’s been very successful so he maybe felt fresh legs would have made more impact. As I’ve said before the red cards killed his game plan and he spent the rest of the game trying to adjust to things outwith his control. I get emotions are high, but take a step back and look at how the game went and ask yourself was that down to team selection or was it just a really unlucky series of events that went against us.
  14. A habit? What does that even mean! So a red card 4 years ago in the first minute under a totally different manager and team is a habit 😂 Oscar slipped, it wasn’t like he did anything bad. The reaction to this game has been off the scale.
