Fans are paying a fortune to go and watch us play this mob and Motherwell can't even take the full squad out there. Its just a total lack of ambition. Faddy is our best player and is one guy who might be able to change the game.

What a fucking joke. Where is the ambition from our club. Yes we are 2-0 down, but if we were to get an early goal then who knows what might happen. But before a ball is kicked he has left three of our best players at home. Also McCalls words after the game were annoying as fuck. 'The tie is over. We have no chance' etc etc. I have no idea why we even take part in this competition. If this is the prize for getting second in the league then fuck it, what is the actual point?

Lets cut to the chase. Hateley and Humphrey were fucking brilliant for us and we are going to miss them big time as I can't say Ramsden and McFadden on the right look anywhere near as effective. On a side not I would stick Faddy behind the big Estonian boy. He doesn't have the pace to play on the wing.

Never expected anything from the game today and apart from a decent wee spell in the second half they were the better team. They were quicker than us. Very well organised and very quick to get back into position after losing the ball. Something that we will need to work on this season. But on take positive note I saw a motherwell team today that will be totally fine in the SPL and confident we can mount another challenge for second and possibly make it more of a fight for celtic. Also I felt McManus was excellent and is something we missed last season. Also we need to get off Hollis's back he played well today and I thought his kicking was decent. Deserves a chance at least.

I once got a bus from London to Glasgow and I can confirm it was up their with some of the worst experiences of my life. Not helped by the fact we had two drunk Celtic fans on the bus coming back from a european game who decided to start smoking in the bus while on the motorway. The hitler driving the bus proceeded to pull into the hard shoulder and chucked them off. Told them there was a service station 5 miles back at Milton Keynes!! I always wonder what happened to those two!

Am I the only one who thinks Carswell is a far better player than Lawson? I think Lawson will have a hard time getting into the first team. I have high hopes for Carswell. Has the potential to be a huge player for us.

Press conference announced by Motherwell tomorrow. I doubt it's to say that Faddy has signed for Celtic...

My take on the Faddy situation is this. There is no way on hell Motherwell would have had him on the bench and also play him against Newcastle unless they were 100% sure he will sign for the team. If not then it was a very silly move by the club. The fact there has been no statement from Motherwell today speaks volumes as if he wasn't signing then we would have found out by now. So for me it just leaves one outcome. The contract negotiations have taken a wee bit longer than enticipated and hopefully it all get straightened out tomorrow. I am still pretty certain he will be a Motherwell player by the weekend.
