They are not on any money. They are on the dole.

I see nothing at all wrong with that story. As Steve says we have no control over the length of their sentence so we might as well try and rehabilitate these people rather than leave them to rot in jail and end up back in as soon as they are out.

Did you just decide this last week? Reynolds is a good footballer. Yes he has made a few mistakes as a defender, but who hasn't. You seem to forget the games where he has strolled through and looked like the 1 million pound player he was at the time. There are far too many people on here who seem to focus on the negative sides of Reynolds game, while totally bypassing the brilliant attributes he has as a footballer. A fickle bunch you lot.

That statement is exactly why Scottish football is in the mess its in. We think because Kenneth is big then he is a defender. Lets not worry about the fact he can't pass and most of his tackles are assualts. Reynolds is not a bad player. He was part of one of the best Motherwell teams of recent years and has played 166 games at SPL level.

Its called the Fred Goodwin effect.

I concur.

I caught a big fuck off Pike. The argument always stands. If Gary Kenneth can get a game for Scotland then why not Reynolds?
-
You can't read too much into that. Two different managers and tactics. Brown and Knox were very defensive while McCall has been using a much more attacking tactic.

In my perfect Motherwell world I would like to see Hutchinson and Saunders as our future centre back pairing over the next couple of years. With Craigan moved into more of a coaching role and an option from the bench. Reynolds was a good player for us, but when you see guys like Hutch and Saunders - they are more of the CB mould. I always felt Reynolds could have been an excellent midfielder (something Gannon tried with him) but it never really turned into anything.

See this Forbes argument. Its been going on for two seasons now. Last season I though overall he was very poor and apart from one decent performance did nothing in the other games he played. On the other hand big Hitchinson came back into the team and has never looked back. If its a confidence thing then he needs to screw the nut and sort himself out.

Whats the point in getting Clarky on loan? In benefits no one. However getting Porter and Hughes on 2 year deals benefits everyone, but if it is going to cost too much then we need to give it a wide bearth. Obviously both want either more or the same as they were on in 2008 - so if that money was coming out of Boyles back pocket and he is no longer there then we need to look elsewhere.

JOB was decent. He caused defenders a headache, but didn't contribute enought in front of goal. 4 goals from 64 games is shite. But as many have said we haven't missed him at all.

I can do lines on my grass. Hire me!

Thats right mate, you must know a shit load about fitbaw. In fact I think SM should hire you a his top scout so we can source players who are not lazy. I also agree about Sutton never working for his goals. I mean his 40 yard effort into the top corner verus St Johnstone basically just hit his toe and went it. Also I seem to remember a good few others ones that just hit his head, left foot and right foot and amazingly went in the net. I actually think Sutton isn't even a footballer - he is just a lucky c**t.

Big Higdon would be a quality signing. BEEAASSSTT! He scares the shite out of most defenders in the SPL cos he is hard as fuck. Also is he not a scouser?
-
We need four strikers if we are to compete at the correct end of the SPL again next year. Maybe even 5.

McGhee for me as I feel it was one of my favourite seasons. We played some amazing football and also had a great European trip. Also a few people have said we only played good football for 6 months under McGhee, but I would argue the death of Uncle Phil really affected that team in so many ways and it was a miracle we actually got that 3rd place finish. Pre O'Donnels death I would say its some of the best football I have ever seen at Fir Park and the perfomace on that evening when Phil passed away was by far the best I have seen in all my years following Motherwell. Its just a shame that the next season McGhee had his eye on any job that was going and it ended up being his downfall. I think if he had really stuck with Motherwell and thought about building a dynasty at the club then he could have been a legend in the making, but greed got in the way. Special mention to Terry Butcher who got some decent performaces out of pretty basic squad, but he made some shocking signings.

Tom Cruise is a fucking c**t of a man.

Instead of watching fitbaw I am going to play more of it myself. I might even play with myself too. Saucy...

The Daily Record did its own Ins/Outs articles on its favourite ugly sisters today. The biggest waste of journalism I have ever seen. But what I thought was brilliant was that Bougherra wants a move to EPL, but the only team interested is QPR - so the journalist says he would be better off staying at Rangers. So let me get this straight. A super rich London club playing in one of the best leagues in the world is a pontless move? Old Firm pandering mongs.

Gunning would be a great signing.
-
Its not really though is it. He might score a goal against us, but we might win the game!
-
Big Higdon at St Mirren or Atoine Curier at Hamilton would both be good replacements for Sutton. Both a similar player and also more importantly would fit our budget. Mind you I think McCall will end up looking south for his strikers.

How do you know that? We were 1 goal away from the group stages and 90 minutes away from winning the Scottish Cup! Lets face it Hearts is a good move for Sutton and I hope he does well with them.
