2-0 Well. Hearts season is over as they have 3rd place wrapped up so their eye will be off the ball. We want to get 5th place which is realistic and maybe even sneak up on Dundee Utd, but thats a long shot. We will have more fight and more to play for. Oh and on our game are the better side.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhOZQt3Bcsg&feature=related Brilliant flying kick!

Rangers will lose to Dundee Utd tonight and Celtic will beat Killie which will basically end the SPL race this week. Thats my prediction anyway.

Fantastic day out right through from the pint and bacon roll in JD's at 10.30am to getting home and sitting in the garden with a beer with a big smile on my face. Ideal! As for the game. We were clinical. Jeffers clever runs allowed Murphy the space to run at their defence and cause all sorts of bother. With Murphy, Sutton, Jeffers and Humphrey up front we look like we can beat anyone. But special mention to Murphy who looks like he is moving onto the next level. Very very impressive. Craigan and The Hutch were outstanding at the back and we were only really troubled with a few long shots from the impressive Murray Davidson. If we can stay fit and have a full squad to choose from then I really feel we can give Celtic a run for their money.

I think McCall will field our best team. We want confidence to be high before the final. Fielding the b team and getting spanked 4 or 5 - 0 will really effect our confidence going into the big game. Personally I think the league will be wrapped up before then as Rangers are shite and will get found against Dundee Utd and Hearts.

I don't think any Motherwell players deserve to be in the Player of the Year running. We scraped into the top six while teams like Hearts romped away and at one point were looking like they could catch the old firm. The dip in the middle part of the season is why none of our players are up for awards. Also young players like Murphy and Saunders had fantastic starts to the season then dipped away and came back. Guys like Goodwillie have been solid all season and Templeton at Hearts had about six months where he was unplayable. If Murphy had continued his start to the season all the way through he would be a stick on for YPY and also probably being signed by some EPL outfit. Next season!

Player of the year is Eremenko. Took a relegation fodder squad into the top six in one season. Young player is either Goodwillie or Templeton at Hearts. I would give it to Templeton.

I think Celtic will win the league before the last game so we will be fine to pump them at Parkhead. I certainly couldn't bring myself to cheer them onto a win, but I wouldn't be unhappy if we lost - if that makes sense.

Has Craig Brown not got previous on 'writing letters' so to speak?
-
Just noticed we don't get three home games. We have 2 against Killie and Rangers. So we have been shafted this year too. Shambles!
-
Have to say its been a very favourable draw for Rangers. All their bogey teams at home. At least we get three more home games and the potential to destroy Rangers title bid. That would be sweet!
-
Oh, but anyway, Toto, we're home. Home! And this is my room, and you're all here. And I'm not gonna leave here ever, ever again, because I love you ...

Anyone hear Brown on the BBC sportsound last night? Basically said that he had responded to the SFA with a letter to explain his assualt on Boyle, but he then started saying he could have sent them much more and that included letters from Motherwell fans who have been embarrassed with John Boyles actions, but of course he 'would keep that to himself' - oh but wait Craig you just annouced it to thousands of people on the radio. Aww shucks! Then cue Richard Gordon, Billy Dodds and some other cock go on about how cute the wee fucker is!

McCarthy is much better than Jennings, but McCarthur is not. So with that simple sentence I think we can say that Jennings could play in the bottom half of the EPL.
-
I think the team that beat Dundee Utd is the ideal setup, but the only change being Craigan in for Gunning who is not fully fit. So mine would be: Randy Hammell Craigan Hutchy Hateley Humph Jenners Las Murph Sutts Foxy Bing Bang Bosh!
-
No Hutchinson! yer affin a laugh!
-
I see that Neil Lennon wants the old c**t strung up in front of the SFA.

We can moan all we like about the fixture headache that the top six split makes, but at the end of the day all SPL clubs agreed to have this split so thats the way the cookie crumbles. My only gripe with it is that Rangers and Celtic always get the fixtures in their favour and not vice versa. But whats new eh?
-
I think what we do have at the moment is key players hitting good form. Murphy, Humphrey, Lasley, Sutton, Randolph and Hutchy are all playing out of their skin right now and hopefully that will continue. Also I just don't know how St Johnstone will be able to cope with Murphy and Humphrey running at them? They might have to double up which will limit them going forward. Its Going to be a very interesting game as St Johnstone play it on the deck like us and this could make for a few goals at either end. Also if Jeffers is fit then his clever runs can open up space for Sutton and Murphy to exploit.
-
Whats the situation with Hammell and Jeffers? Are both going to make the Semi Final?
-
So you are fed up reading a 9 page thread about Craig Brown that you yourself have replyed on? Fucking Internet Forum Thought Police do my box right in.

Trucks - my point is that Aberdeen have a dreadful squad and a debt of 12 million. What exactly can Brown and Knox do? They won't have the cash to rebuild the whole squad and also the players he has brought in are average to say the least. Yes he has saved them from relegation, but long term I think there is no hope for them.
-
Higdon I would think will be snapped up by a Championship club. He has saved St Mirren being in a relegation dogfight.
-
The thing with Aberdeen is where the fuck do they go from here? They are 12 million in debt, have a totally shite squad and a management team that is looking unlikley to fix the mess. As for Browns media relations - he said he would keep a dignified silence. We since then he has never shut up! I think he is losing it.

There was a guy next to me last night who was just dying to give Forbes stick. Him and all the knobs around him sniping away at him all game. Mind you not a peep when his hard work setup the goal. The problem with Forbes is that he is far too slow. He gets caught on the ball all the time. Not sure if it can be worked on, but if his pace increased he would be a great player. But I am not going to shout at the lad from the stands. Its the same with Steve Jones against Aberdeen. Some muppets in front of me were like 'Aye he will fuck up soon enough'. Negative wanks.
