  1. Wonderful night and memories. Had to call in sick the following morning and I’m sure I wouldn’t be the only one. All the sweeter as my boss was a rabid tim. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. Really? Didn’t know that [emoji2357] @Neilwell86 - apologies looks like he did have a spell at Thistle.
  4. Don’t think Jake Carroll was ever at Patrick, but your point is nonetheless valid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. 25 October 1975 I remember Willie Pettigrew scoring 4 in that 6-3 game but can't remember the other scorers. Just checked " Well Again" and it was Ian Taylor who got the other 2 that day. Jim McCabe left earlier that season without making an appearance and signed for Stranraer.
  6. Jim McCabe - yes, but was "Netzer" not Jim McIlwraith?
  7. Anyone having trouble with the stream? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. [emoji23]Probably not. But I can see why you think the connection may be tenable given the thread title. Seats were split between them and Bathgate I believe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Super Cooper - there will ever only be one. RIP
  10. With you on that one Goggles - this has no connection to the club at all. Which players designed this? The Women? the men? a mixture? Sorry guys AFAIC an epic fail.
  11. ...... and the big centre forward (can't even remember his name)
  12. I'm sure that strip was from a much later tournament than 1974. 1974 was white with black trim and black shorts and white socks.
  13. Yes - and I can't understand why it wasn't adopted more. The perspective between pitch level and even a few rows back is quite marked in my perception of a game.
  14. My mind might be playing tricks - it was a long time ago, but I'm sure that was the side Ian St John had a box built above the dugout, for that actual reason. That and the fact he could actually see what was happening on the park. Can't remember when the move was made back to the current (well prior to yesterday) arrangement.

  16. Never got to see him play, but that team he managed were a joy to watch at the time. Secured our first victories against Celtic (certainly in the 9 in a row years) in my lifetime and had us as a force to be reckoned with. On a church billboard in Liverpoool the immortal words “ Jesus Saves” to which were added “and St John scores the rebound” RIP Saint. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. ...................... or he has tourettes?
  18. Really gutsy performance - and what a 3 points, didn't see that one coming. Huge thumbs up to the much maligned Lamie and Crawford.
  19. Time for a change up front and freshen things up .
  20. Some of our decision making is bordering on the criminal
  21. Why do we even bother fielding a midfield. We just lump it over them at every turn [emoji2357][emoji2959] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Not sure anyone who has suffered relegation needs to ask this question. It would be horrendous. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
