There are others in the team capable of doing the "physical" work - no need to load the side with strong/physical players - all about balance. At no point did I describe any of those players as Hammer Throwers (just a wee bit of artistic licence there). It is clearly you who is currently disappointed with the current squad and team selection.

Yip - Liz Mullen ran 4 buses, left from the Town Hall, first stop Abington to wait on some idiot who had forgotten their passport - ooops that would have been me . What a trip it was unforgettable . What made it more memorable was the stop at Calais to stock up and someone finding the French equivalent of MadDog 20:20. Watching the guys get more and more drunk, only to find out is was actually Orange Cordial - 0% Alcohol .

I celebrated as a lot of others did (nothing to do with the copious amounts of alcohol) and for 10 minutes after still believed we were 1-0 up

Of course they did - you only need to see who the referee was to know that would happen - a certain Mr JRP Gordon who was subsequently banned, found to have accepted "gifts for favours".

Agreed that prior to his injury, he was better than we had at that time, but time seems to have caught up with him. Perhaps we are trying to move him on - or perhaps he's happy with the wage he's picking up for doing very little. However while he is here, I'm quite content to let the coaching team decide how good or pish he is.

OK - how about he was shite in the games he's played this season - slow, ponderous in possession and lacking in basic footballing skills. Being able to shout, encourage and gesticulate doesn't warrant a place in any team.
