I hope there's more enthusiasm within the squad for this game, than there seems to be among the support. Don't think I've ever witnessed such a 'low-key' build up for a semi-final in all the years I've been following the 'well. Just doesn't seem to be much appetite for the game at all

Hard to imagine that 4 of that squad are no longer with us.

Unless there were official figures to back it up I’m not sure it is significantly less. From where we were in the South Stand about 6,000 looked about right in the League Cup semi as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks Dezz - hardly seems worth the effort, as there was talk when I was in getting my tickets that the buses would likely leave around the 10.30 am mark. Again I've checked the official site and can't see any confirmation of departure times on buses either.

Oh yeah - great memory - particularly the crowd trouble. Not so much the result. Was supposed to meet my uncle and cousin, who had travelled up from Kilmarnock for the game - but never did due to the size of the crowd. Like you this 11 year old was crapping it while the fighting was at it's height - and believe me this was real 'crowd-trouble' toe-to-toe stuff, not the 'pavement dancing' most of us were used to seeing in the '80s. Some of the games particularly versus Killie and Hearts had a real sinister feel to them - pre fence obviously.

Sounds like a huge OG to me - an admittance of guilt before the 'appeal' - or at the least, evidence to back up Thomson's view - strange decision by the club.

I'd rather crowd-fund a 'hitman'.

What I find hard to understand is the mentality that fans are happy to shell out for a season ticket to watch games in a competition that we have as much chance of winning as hell freezing over - yet fail to turn up to a game in one of the only two competitions where we actually have a chance. This is noticeable not only here but in Englandurshire as well - strange one!!

So you fail to see the irony in your comment, that more than 50% of the crowd travelled from outside Lanarkshire . I will enjoy the moment, but our support was pathetic whatever way you spin it.
