  1. Would you like a role with Society? - keep this up and we'll be at the £1.5m in no time
  2. Unfortunately Celtic I think in the first of their 9 in-a-row.
  3. They dropped a division, so might be looking to offload.
  4. Unfortunately the club needs everything in the 'pot', because like it or not the playing budget, whilst the most important, isn't the only function of the club - but you know that and don't need me to point it out - even though I just have. But your comment has made me evaluate and think about future contributions to either 'Well Society or club directly and what would benefit the Club most - would love to do both just can't. I had considered upping my contribution to the Well Society, then thought that perhaps the additional money may be better channelled to the Club, given its current predicament. Anyone care to offer some practical advice. My initial thought was to pay for extra season tickets, to the value of my increased contribution, thereby providing the Club with direct funds, but this would be a one-off and unlikely to be available year-on-year. The other obvious alternative is to upgrade the subscription and let the Well Society filter the money to the club as and when required. I want to help as much as I can, but am unsure which direction to take on this. Anybody else in this predicament.
  5. Similar scheme already in place Postie. Was introduced earlier in the year to attempt to attract new membership.
  6. And this unfortunately is multiplied many times over throughout our 'core' support. Happy that the Directors are not resting on their laurels and are actively seeking alternative funding, hopefully successfully.
  7. Great clip, but nothing to do with celebrating our entry to the Champions League - that was during his time at Bradford
  8. Watched them v 'The Blue Brazil' on Sunday - they looked out of their depth even at that level - like you mate, think we should pass on any of them.
  9. Think you might only get one or the other.
  10. Yip Stall that's what I take from the release - McCall clearly feels the money could be spent more wisely to strengthen other areas of the team.
  11. Given his end-of-season performances, I doubt he will be inundated with offers from SPL clubs. Really was a shadow of himself and just didn't look like he had the 'legs' anymore. Good luck wherever you end up Faddy, thanks for the memories. Always a legend
  12. £50.00 sent today by paypal. Good luck with the rest of the sponsorship drive.
  13. ....... or maybe even second place
  14. You guys have some memories - or I'm losing mine - more likely the latter.
  15. No late enough lol - seemed an age between the goal and full-time.
  16. Great double post - especially the Ray Farningham one. Tucked away in the top left hand corner of the Main Stand, That was the quickest evacuation drill Ibrox had ever seen.
  17. His second most definitely was.
  18. Hadn't realised there were so many - yes some weren't 'last minute' but they were certainly equally as important and no less celebrated. Some cracking memories there.
  19. Sunday's game got me thinking about other last minute goals which have been wildly celebrated over the years. So what's been everyone's favourite. Mine I think would have to have been Ian Ross's winner against Celtic - purely for the unusual circumstances surrounding the game. Losing our goalkeeper early in the match and playing a good portion of it with Jamie (RIP) Dolan in goals.
