  1. That's quite astonishing - didn't realise it had been that long.
  2. I wonder if that's what Faddy was telling SMC when he went off. Seemed to be a fair bit of discussion.
  3. Post of the year by a country mile.
  4. I stand by my opinion that this discussion has no place in this particular area of the forum - by all means discuss the matter, but in the correct place. I don't come here to read about SEVCO or the running of our national game, I come to read about Motherwell. For all clubs in Scotland read a) and b) for what its worth. Turnbull Hutton - unlikely to happen. The root cause and the reason for the formation of the Top Ten and ultimately the breakaway years ago, took place because the 'big two' were fed up with the "tail wagging the dog" and are unlikley to allow that to happen again (11-1 anyone?)
  5. Take this to 'Other Football' then, because this is 'Club Chat' and your discussion has nothing directly to do with our Club. Couldn't care less, but its clear you have an agenda - not even convinced your a 'Well fan. As I alluded to earlier all that will happen is we'll replace one corrupt official with another. Nothing in your posting proves the validity of the documentation. Want to play at politics, take the discussion to the correct place.
  6. Both full-backs had that to contend with 2 on one situations, throughout the game - Murray, more so in the first half, thankfully it was Cairney who tended to be the extra man.
  7. Was quite funny as the teams were coming out, but might have been better had they been put away until half-time. Might be interesting if the question is asked of the players, if it affected the outcome. If it did, then the 'blower' needs strung up by the balls
  8. "watching the highlights" obviously.
  9. Anyone on here got any news on the young lad who took a sore one to his ankle in the melee to get to Big Handsome John at the equaliser. Not life threatening - but looked like someone fell on him and he was led away limping quite badly.
  10. Pretty sure we could get an old one from 'The Pride'
  11. Oh god no - scarred me as a child did that result - like underboyle formed my extreme dislike of the Jambo's as a result of those games. Note the crowd and the passing comment on the 'fighting' - doesn't do it justice - it was like a war zone from beginning to end. Any footage of the next instalment - the 'Jim McCabe' game (hat-rick, a 4-2 victory and 37 arrests, game stopped on several occasions and police dogs let off the leash by their handlers) Those were the days. Think that might have been the following season's Texaco Cup Quarter-Final.
  12. Why? just why? - keep these things to yourself
  13. Yes it was - my still humourless friend. The generalisation was that he is journalist and the profession as such has little if any integrity. What things about Stuart Cosgrove do I not know?
  14. A generalisation my humourless friend - hence the use of the smiley
  15. And what integrity does he have, he's a journalist for f...s sake .
  16. Wholeheartedly agree on all the points - good post, though what was the phrase Fatcalf used - "The more things change, the more they stay the same". As for Aberdeen and their ideas above their station attitude, the least said the better. There was an opportunity for fundamental change which has sadly been missed.
  17. Gazzy - they are letters purporting to be from HMRC indicating the payment of EBT's to Tore Andre Flo, Ronald De-Boer and Craig Moore (If they actually paid him an EBT they deserve everything they get) and the deliberate withholding of such information. Having spent 30+ years in various Government Departments, the language, tone and construction of such a highly sensitive (and unsigned) letter makes it dubious at best. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I think there's a bit of 'skullduggery' at play.
  18. Ian - So who made these 'docs' available - I smell shite.
  19. I think it might have been around 1975 'ish, just in time for the advent of the Top 10.
  20. Naw - the squeaky voice was Graeme Smith lol.
  21. Taken from BBC website - not always accurate I know GOAL - St Johnstone 1-0 Motherwell (MacLean)Steven MacLean nets on his comeback for St Johnstone, tapping home after Gunnar Nielsen spills the ball.
