  1. We must have the most financially challenged support in the country and the biggest bunch of moaning faced bastards on God's earth. For christ's sake, people have been bleating on here for years about how club's should drop prices, ours do and that's how they are rewarded, with a pitiful attendance - we took more to Hamilton last year for the Rovers debacle. OK they took the freebie off the season ticket - get over it, most clubs do now I believe. We have a shitty board with a fan base to match - we're a match made in heaven and getting everything we deserve. Rant over, raging and time to put down the glass I think.
  2. .................. you did mean to say "...less than 3,000 didn't you - fucking pathetic attendance.
  3. Surely wasn't just us that agreed to that steelboy - and our disagreement I don't think would have changed the outcome, but that decision noble though it was didn't do us any favours.
  4. If you haven't read this http://www.steelmenonline.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=14443&view=findpost&p=423803 then yes!
  5. Hope he paid in the same as the rest of us to watch that keech!!!!!!!!!!
  6. So where was the manager in the first half?
  7. Sure someone on here mentioned they were going to hospitality. Yip Andy_P, funny haven't seen him post for a wee while - you alright Andy?
  8. Must have put that one right out of my mind - when did he return?
  9. I believe its a fairly recent phenomenon Frazzie. Prior to Brian McClair, they were rarer than 'hens teeth'. I couldn't come up with one (cue someone to prove me wrong lol) and I always wondered why it rarely happened at our club, but was a regular occurance at other Scottish clubs.
  10. Confirmed on MFC twitter page - apparently.
  11. Tex - was Keith not a striker (pre-keeper)?
  12. Lee Erwin - big Harry Erwin's laddie?
  13. Welcome aboard - but you really need to sort your 'left' from your 'right'
  14. Hope this is just a rumour - though I believe it likely to be more than that. Had his time, surely better players (in our price bracket) than Clarky out there.
  15. Yeah lots are claiming it as their own, sadly I only ever linked it to Celtic. The Glentoran one is a real surprise.
  16. Don't think so cambo - that, I'm certain has always been one of the few original Celtic songs - recorded by Glen Daly at the Ashfield Club circa 1961'ish. Some digging around Everton sites suggests only being sung since the middle to late eighties.
  17. Adopted by Liverpool in early sixties after Gerry & the Pacemakers (from Liverpool) released it as a single. Stolen and sung by nearly every club at some point thereafter (I'm almost certain even Rangers sung it). Definitely NOT a Celtic song originally - eventually most clubs moved on to other songs/chants, Celtic continued to sing it and 'adopted' it as their own. Another copycat - 'the Poznan' (though that might be the Huddle "something else" refers to).
  18. Ha Ha - a picture and story for every eventuality - truly a legend
  19. Who the f..k is 'elbows' - McCulloch?
  20. Confirmed first leg at Fir Park 17 July
  21. Damn was hoping it would be the other way round - won't make away leg - off on holibags 25th
