  1. Didn't think it was him that was involved with that Andy - was it not John Clifford (another ex-player, though he spent most of his time in the reserves - in fact maybe all his time)
  2. Thats a lot of pies - even for Flow
  3. Thought the defender was Sammy Hyppia?
  4. You got a source to go with that comment? Otherwise its no more fact than the posts suggesting he might come back.
  5. Good signing. Always thought he was very like Sutton but a little more mobile.
  6. Well done to everyone involved - bit down this morning but that fair cheered me up - here's to next year - though I'm sure I said that in 1991 as well.
  7. That's it - Cup Final weekend begins here and now - off to GAZZAMFC68's for a party and sleep over C'mon 'well lets just do this See you all tomorrow.
  8. You coming on the buses from FP tomorrow - big chum - if so we can raise a glass to Jock and my dad in the Cooper.
  9. The legend who was my dad - travelled the length and breadth of the country in my early years - Stoke, Spurs, Blackburn, Fulham - with him. He's been sorely missed since he passed away 10 years ago, but there is never a game goes by where I don't think about him - Saturday will be no different, though I'm sure I'll choke back a tear as the team enters the stadium. Also have a thought and will raise a glass for my old mucker Davie Fawcett - Coltness, boy would he have enjoyed this - taken all too soon, but he'll be leading the cheering wherever he is.
  10. Calm down dear - its only Alan Rough - what the f..k does he know.
  11. You seriously not going big chap
  12. Great vid - had forgotten quite how much we dominated that game.
  13. Car flag in Whitburn - and some bunting (if my dressmaker relative comes up with the goods) and flags around the house.
  14. You got any spare - Whitburn would look great bedecked in that. Didn't realise we had a dressmaker in the family
  15. - need I say more. Cannae wait mate.
  16. If he's fishing he's certainly managed a full basket - but if not, then there you have the OF fans litlle brother - I'll sit/stand where I want and do what I want and to hell with everyone else.
  17. Not at all I spent all day last time down at Fir Park from 7.00 am and never witnessed any bitching/moaning like there has been on here - different atmosphere entirely from the one generated on here and other sites. 20 years since a Cup Final appearance and all people do is use it as a stick to batter the club with, wonder if those same people will have the same attitude if its another 20 years to our next final experience.
  18. Who gives a flying f... Happy to be fleeced every year if it means a Cup Final trip. Moan, moan, moan - give it a rest and just enjoy the fact we're there - seemed a far simpler time in '91. Most queued for 3 hours then as well, but without the moaning - a time of joy, but not for this generation of fans it would seem
  19. If the atmosphere at Hampden is as good as this sing-song, we'll lift the roof off. Absolutely buzzin' I am. Time to go see you all at Hampden COTW :yahoo:
  20. From the slopes of the Fir Park terracing To the playing fields so green There's eleven stalwart warriors They're the best you've ever seen Oh we may not be league champions, Or even runners-up But we'll f..k the super Saintees Out of this year's Scottish Cup (To the tune of the US Marine Corps Hymn)
  21. Won't be long now 'young Grasshopper' see you in a wee while for a wee swally and sing song
  22. But is 7.00 o'clock really any earlier than 9.00 for a drink , or you just not got anything in the fridge - reckon the Cooper is going to be jumpin. Its also time for payback for 1969 - an early introduction for this steelman to the disappointment of defeat at the national stadium.
  23. Yip - been awake for ages - dressed and ready to go, Just cannae settle and been like this for days. C'mon 'well - as the banner read "its time for new heroes".
