  1. You seriously not going big chap
  2. Great vid - had forgotten quite how much we dominated that game.
  3. Car flag in Whitburn - and some bunting (if my dressmaker relative comes up with the goods) and flags around the house.
  4. You got any spare - Whitburn would look great bedecked in that. Didn't realise we had a dressmaker in the family
  5. - need I say more. Cannae wait mate.
  6. If he's fishing he's certainly managed a full basket - but if not, then there you have the OF fans litlle brother - I'll sit/stand where I want and do what I want and to hell with everyone else.
  7. Not at all I spent all day last time down at Fir Park from 7.00 am and never witnessed any bitching/moaning like there has been on here - different atmosphere entirely from the one generated on here and other sites. 20 years since a Cup Final appearance and all people do is use it as a stick to batter the club with, wonder if those same people will have the same attitude if its another 20 years to our next final experience.
  8. Who gives a flying f... Happy to be fleeced every year if it means a Cup Final trip. Moan, moan, moan - give it a rest and just enjoy the fact we're there - seemed a far simpler time in '91. Most queued for 3 hours then as well, but without the moaning - a time of joy, but not for this generation of fans it would seem
  9. If the atmosphere at Hampden is as good as this sing-song, we'll lift the roof off. Absolutely buzzin' I am. Time to go see you all at Hampden COTW :yahoo:
  10. From the slopes of the Fir Park terracing To the playing fields so green There's eleven stalwart warriors They're the best you've ever seen Oh we may not be league champions, Or even runners-up But we'll f..k the super Saintees Out of this year's Scottish Cup (To the tune of the US Marine Corps Hymn)
  11. Won't be long now 'young Grasshopper' see you in a wee while for a wee swally and sing song
  12. But is 7.00 o'clock really any earlier than 9.00 for a drink , or you just not got anything in the fridge - reckon the Cooper is going to be jumpin. Its also time for payback for 1969 - an early introduction for this steelman to the disappointment of defeat at the national stadium.
  13. Yip - been awake for ages - dressed and ready to go, Just cannae settle and been like this for days. C'mon 'well - as the banner read "its time for new heroes".
  14. Prices have to be agreed by all semi-finalists though, not just us and the Perth Saintees.
  15. "That's us both seen a cup win" - to my dad with tears streaming down both our faces (as they are just now recalling the memory).
  16. Where'll it be for that one though - M&D's, JD's or Fir Park
  17. Wisnae Ally it was Ian St John that had that installed - so he could see more of the game and not just the players knees.
  18. That's scary - remember it well, I think. Went in front early on, then the roof caved in. In fariness Utd were a smashing team at that time, but we Jim McLean, might have been a bit OTT when he fined them for not being entertaining? Pie - you're right mate it is a no brainer (damn TV, Rail companies, SKY and Gadaffi) - 4 of us travelling up with the Wishy branch, looking forward to it.
  19. Be surpirised if there is anything approaching the supports we took the last twice we visited on Cup duty. You going?
  20. Obviously only saw her from a distance (ie Oz) - her face had more marks than a German bank
  21. Andy Goram? - possibly the best shotstopper ever in the Scottish game. Peter McCloy was error prone Keith McCrae - Agile and Confident Shuggie - extrovert, but again prone to a howler or two - Jamie Fairley running the ball in from the half-way line against Accies at FP - having succesfully beaten our last line of defence to the ball in their half - springs immediately to mind. Stuart Rennie - Clossus and assured - remember him playing second half against Killie with stitches in what had been a gaping head wound and along with Jimmy O'Rourke, inspiring the 'well to a 5-3(?) win after being 2-0 down at half-time. Sieb Sykstra - see Stuart Rennie Of the rest the only one that merits any real mention is Ally Maxwell - purley for his heroics in 1991. Darren Randolph? For me? Splits Andy Goram and Keith McCrae, in that order.
  22. LOL - visit to the Opticians required - either that or your a referee on the Grade One list.
  23. Now there is no option but to live within our means - thanks John . Can only echo the sentiments of others - If I had the funds would I have done anything different - don't think so - Good Luck.
  24. Might it not be at that time because there is a game tonight
