    Relegation

Am I right in saying if all three teams win next week then this could be a potential nightmare as it would mean that Ross County and Killie could play for a draw and we would be in the playoffs whatever result we get. As they would both have a point more than us. We could be the new Algeria and be left gutted as killie and Ross County pass it between each other like West Germany and Austria in 1982 Ha ha beaten to it!
  2. That could be a good shout fizoxy, never thought of grant in the attacking midfielder role. Whatever the team or formation let's hope we get a positive result today to match all the good vibes off the pitch Come on ye well
  3. I'm going with a 4-2-3-1 with long Kerr, ramsden, mcmanus, reid Lasley, grant Erwin, n.Thomas, straker Sutton Or a 4-4-2 with Thomas and straker on the wings and big Lee and sutton up front
  4. Any of the mods feel free to delete my above post and this one as it was my 19month old daughters view on flow and the board and as you can see its not exactly insightful!
  5. Was there not a rumour when baraclough took over that black would be replaced as no.2 by an ex-manager who is seemingly good friends with bara and would be popular with the crowd. I'm at work and on my phone so I can't be bothered trawling for the post but I'm sure I read it, or I dreamt it!
  6. I don't normally post, just enjoy reading everybody's opinions but one thing really annoyed me last night, well more than one but the main point. All season we have been creating next to nothing partly in my opinion because we have missed hammell as an out ball down the left, he's by a mile the best crosser of the ball in the team. So when I heard we were playing 3 at the back last night I thought at least we'll have an attacking threat down the left instead of relying on the increasingly half arsed ainsworth down the right. Then I see we have O'Brien sitting on the bench and hammell at centre half meaning we had to make do with a guy with no confidence as our attacking threat down the left. That formation could have worked if we had guys who could beat a man or even cross a ball at wing back but as it was we had a centre half miscontrolling every pass to him (which I'm not blaming him for, I've actually been impressed with Kerr when he plays his natural position) and the aforementioned zaine who must have passed it inside every time he got it. On one hand I can see why we don't want to play the young guys like Thomas and cadden just now as it could totally shatter their confidence as the senior guys don't look like they'd be much help to them just now but it's beginning to become last throw of the dice stuff and theres an apathy running through the club to the point where I've been a season ticket holder for 25years and I'm not really that bothered about going on a Saturday at the moment. I can't speak for everybody but it would at least give me a bit of intrigue if anything to see how these guys would fare if given a chance on a Saturday or a Friday before anybody points out the next 2 games
  7. Just a wee thought that occurred to me about Ferguson. I agree with everybody that he was out his depth at left back but who was the last player we had making his debut out of position at left back and looking totally lost. Uncle Phil Not for a minute am I suggesting Ferguson will go on and be the player O'Donnell was (different position) for a start but how many of us could have seen how that turned out after Phil's debut
  8. I think it was Arbroath that Murray was playing for yesterday as a trialist. Went off after 22mins, some Arbroath fans on pie and bovril speculating he was injured only to find out from one of the guys there he was taken off as he was a bombscare. Somembody with more a more technological mind can check it out and post the link if need be
