  1. I could do, it's still in great nick as is the Xara training top which was much admired in work last Friday when I wore it on dress down day. Although I'm torn between this years home top and the two retro tops, at the moment it's looking like the Pettigrew. The whiskey T-shirt got a fair few compliments in the pub as well. I'm not exactly stuck for Motherwell gear and I take good care of them. So, actually, there is a doubt nice to know you care though.
  2. I live in Manchester, popping into the club shop isn't actually an option. After the cup final the only place I'll be popping into is the pub, the next day I'll be on a train home.
  3. I bought a retro shirt recently from the shop and was planning on buying the 125th anniversary shirt as well, but it just looks the same. I'm actually a wee bit pissed, but not totally surprised, at the lack of imagination.

    A Quiz

All years in which Celtic never won either of the Cups
  5. It pisses me off as well, but how do we argue back? In three league games against Celtic we've won 2-0 and lost 1-0 twice, we've scored as many goals against Celtic as we've let in, against Rangers we've laid down and taken it up the shit chute, 19 goals to 2, in four resounding defeats. I cant fathom how we can be so poor against Rangers on a regular basis and yet manage to give Celtic a hard game each and every time we play them. Can you?
  6. If it was Motherwell sorting office i would have hardly needed to get it posted out would I, I could have walked up and bought it. I live in Manchester okay, seems like you've no just had your head boiled but your brain deep fried as well.
  7. I'm superstitious that way, I very rarely wear colours when we are on TV because when I do we invariably lose heavily. I was just delighted with the top and decided to put it on right away and I'm now wondering if I've jinxed that shirt.
  8. I've stated my opinion on McCall from day one nothing snidey about that. What is snidey is picking up someone's comments from weeks ago on another board and bringing them on here to ridicule them Pathetic.
  9. I was having a good morning till that shite, walked into town picked up my parcel from PSL at the sorting office, a Motherwell top for the Cup Final, got home put it on and sat down to watch the match. Now seriously considering not wearing the top to the final.
  10. If memory serves it was after the match at Inverness where we lost 3-0. In a thread entitled "Stuart McCall true to his blue credentials" I believe my complete answer was this You seem to be implying there is some sort of collusion here and i will hotly dispute that scenario, There is no corruption or collusion, no helping of old friends either, Stuart McCall is just one shite manager. That was back on the 6th March. The laugh's on you mate.
  11. I did post that on P&B you're correct, although it was a few weeks ago. Have you been waiting all this time to throw it into a thread and have a laugh? How sad is that.
  12. Living in Manchester I dont often get up for matches, any visits home tend to be around birthdays, weddings, etc, and therefore I dont get to pick and choose my games it just depends who we are playing when I am up. This has meant that I am currently on an unbeaten run against Celtic, the last four games I have seen at Fir Park against Celtic have ended 4-4, 1-1, 1-1, and 2-0. I hope this is an omen.
  13. How is that 'balance' we are Motherwell, the team and the town. These people got elected to do a job for the town and the people of the town. The bigots can fuck right off, balance my arse.
  14. The "no quality gaurantee" is a point that is brought up regularly, but is far from valid. Sure there are a few who bring along inferior merchandise, one elderly woman who pitched up at Ibrox and Parkhead in the late '70's early '80's did hers on a home knitting machine and they were about as thick as Eddie Shoestrings tie, but the majority of the traders source their material from the same places as the club shops. With fewer overheads these guys can afford to charge less than the shops. MFC should ask the local council for an exclusion zone around the ground to protect their trade.
  15. Oddly enough back in the 70's and 80's Parkhead was totally covered at the Rangers end, but the roof at the Celtic end only came out to about halfway down the terracing.

    Then And Now

In 1926, the last time Manchester City beat Man Ure in the FA Cup semi-final, Celtic also beat Aberdeen in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup going on to lose the final to a provincial club, St Mirren.

    St Johnstone

I thought it was a magnificent team performance, but I'm going to go for Lasley. He never put a foot wrong and if he had scored when he was put through it would have been the icing on the cake. I hope he stays fit for the final.
  18. I hope he doesn't wash it before the final. ;>)
  19. As far as I'm concerned I'm a Motherwell supporter and it's their colours I'll be flying on the day. If the OP wants to fly a saltire or a Union Flag to wind up a few plastic paddies he's more than welcome to do so, it's trying to organise it as some sort of mass protest I find distasteful. I'd rather we remained Motherwell fans than turned into some sort of low-calorie h*n, or fat free tim, when we play the Old Firm. Lower ourselves to their level and we lose the moral high ground. We should be showing people how real football supporters behave. Let's make this about Motherwell and leave all the politics out of it.

    Humphrey

I'm only passing on what the guy said, and he had heard there was some agreement when he signed that there would be a percentage paid if he moved on. I didn't think there was but I told him I'd stick it on here and see if any of you lot knew.
  21. Totally disagree with the original post. Supporting Motherwell should be just that, supporting the club. We shouldn't dilute that support by bringing in any other agenda. We start that kind of thing and we lower ourselves to the scums level. Lets be as loud and proud as it's possible to be, but keep it about Motherwell.
  22. If he plays I hope he scores a hat trick. I may not rate him, I may think he's a waste of space and money, but as long as he's wearing a 'Well shirt he'll get my wholehearted support.
