    In's And Out's

He might well be, but from the performance he gave last night, I think he'd be a good signing. A bit of pace about him, strong in the tackle, i'd definitely have him at Fir Park

    In's And Out's

I doubt we'll be seeing MM returning to Reading. Was working down south earlier in the year and one of the guys in the office was a Reading fan. He told me the 1st time McGhee returned for a game against Reading (did he not leave them for Wolves?) he got absouloutely pelted with Eggs when he came off the team bus!! Don't think the Reading fans would take too kindly to him coming back

    Now We Know

Not sure if it's been posted elsewhere, but what's the script if we finish exactly level with Hibs (points, GD & GS) Does it go to a head-to-head over the season or it is a play off against Hibs at a neutral venue?
  4. I had no choice in the matter. My old man made sure I was a 'Well fan from birth. No real memories of my 1st game, apart from leaving the ground. Was just a couple of months after my 4th birthday, so was around Jan/Feb 1991. We lost 3-1 to Hearts at Fir Park I believe. Even went to the '91 cup final, but again, not much recollection unfortunately. Been a regular ever since, tho my Dad gave it up a few years back. I used to love Scottish Cup days when I was younger, as my Dad never took me to any away league games, but would take me to the cup ones. Loved the old rickety stadiums I visited (Ayr, East Fife, Dumbarton, Clydebank to name a few. Also at the Arbroath game that got abondoned at half time). My claim to fame is being in the Simply the Greatest Cup Winning DVD. After Iain Ferguson blazes over the bar in the last few minutes of the Morton home game, you see me sitting on the East Stand wall next to my Da. p.s AndyRoss a dirty h*n for over 10 years. Shocking! Im changing my season ticket seat next season to move away from him!!

    Vs Kilmarnock

Another big game on Saturday, but it's on Setanta! With Hibs and Aberdeen facing each other, and Utd having Celtic, 3 points here could have us planted in the top 6 and right in the hunt for 3rd. For me, same team as Saturday, McLean was solid at the back, and Quinn really impressed me in an unfamiliar position. Hopefully Clarky comes on again and bags another. Smith McLean Craigan Reynolds Hammell Quinn Hughes Klimpl O'Brien Sutton Sheridan 3-1 to the 'Well. Sutton, Sheridan & Clarky (and a yellow card for Klimpl ) Get it right up ye Setanta! EDIT - Any news on the prices for Saturday? Price reduction perhaps?? Was talking to our Killie friend Squirrelhumper this morning about Saturday, his plan is go to the game, then back to the Sports Bar in the main stand for the Scotland-England rugger game. A Motherwell/Scotland away double would be a grand day!
  6. In the words of Chris Kamara....... UNBELIEVEABLE JEFF!!!! 3-0 up!! HAPPY DAYS
  7. Did I say they were rubbish? I said I would like a bit more experience in the team rather than another young player. And I would bet a lot of money that Adam Hamill will never play another 1st team game for Liverpool.
  8. Would that not give us the 2 wingers that were in the relegated Dunfermline side of 2 years ago? No thanks. I'd be hoping MM brings a couple of more experienced players in. If one of them were to be Simon Lappin, then that would be fine n dandy!
  9. It wasn't the prettiest of victories, but i'll take them all day long. For the first hour, Porter was immense, but he tired towards the end. Totally understandable. Other special mentions for O'Brien & Klimpl. I thought Lasley & Clarkson were a bit off tonight, but fuck it, we beat the Jambo's! Hearts were piss poor tonight. The only one that impresses me is Andy Driver. Though, he's got fuck all strikers to work with so I hope he gets a move away to show off his talent a bit better. That boy Nade is completely hopeless, then again, Calum Elliot..... Also, AndyRoss now thinks Chris Porter is worth £20million after that performance. Who am I to argue?
  10. Tommy Coyne was my favourite ever 'Well player. M'Lord Also, James McFadden and "Big Buff" Brian Martin are up there too.

    Accies On Saturday

Like I said earlier, fucking shite! Do the honourable thing McGhee and walk. Give someone else a chance. Someone who actually will care about the job, and wants the job.

    Accies On Saturday

What an abject, spineless, pathletic 1st half peformance. Thank fuck I didnt pay £22 to watch that shite. Someone please tell me, how the fuck can that c**t McGhee stand there and think that lumping high balls to Sutton and Porter is working? How many headers have they actually won?? The defending for the goal was fucking amateur. You may have already guessed, but im fucking furious with that "performance" McGhee can walk anytime if we lose this game.
  13. We've had a few shockers on the box in the last couple of years. Hearts & Aberdeen at home in the Malpas era, then that was followed by the 4-1 scuddin up at East End Park (would I be correct in saying Jim O'Brien played for Dunfermline that night?) I think i'm right in saying we've only ever won once on Setanta, and that was Skippy Sunday. I can't think of any other win.
