  1. Noticed the lack of Twitter updates from the players. Fucking right they should be embarrassed. Good to see McCall getting the criticism he deserves after last night. He's taken all the praise, quite rightly, but we've consistently churned out powderpuff shitebag performances against Rangers & Celtic since he took charge. To those who are giving it "look at the bigger picture" line, that's a lot of pish. Last night was fucking abysmal, and McCall and the players deserve every bit of abuse they get. They've all taken the praise and I mentioned above, let's see if their men enough to handle the flak. It's like saying about the guy down south, "He's been a great Maths teacher for a few years, the kids have had some excellent exam results in his time. Aye, we're disappointed he's fucked off to France with a 15-year old pupil, but we're not too disheartened". We could be in a lot of bother when Celtic visit on Saturday.
  2. I would imagine Celtic will sell out their allocation no problem. I believe it's their first away SPL game to kick off at 3pm on Saturday since October 2005. As for the game itself, it will obviously depend on how we fare tonight, but i'll go for a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
  3. I've just sent £10 over. Cheers.

    No To Newco Demo

I like the idea of this, however, who exactly will we be protesting/demonstrating to? Will anyone be inside Fir Park on the 30th June to listen? Is their plans for the Press to be there? And most importantly, how long do we need to be there before we can go for a pint?
  5. Dundee Utd 2-2 Hearts. With us going on to pump St. Johnstone 5-1 a couple of hours later.
  6. I've got a bad feeling about the game this weekend. I don't think we'll be making a return to Hampden this season. 2-1 Aberdeen.
  7. Delighted to get some cash for Murphy. Didn't want him to end up going for peanuts like Reynolds. While this season hasn't been the best for Jamie, I wish him all the best for the future. He'll need it, because he doesn't have the physical strength to complete in that league.

    Dundee Utd

Just shows you that 2 people can see the same game very differently. I thought Law was poor on Saturday, but obviously the conditions played a part in that. Steve Jennings MOTM for me, Michael Higdon a close second.
  9. Fired a fiver on that myself. Like you say, he's been close on a couple of occaisions with headers.
  10. Don't even pretend you'll be paying full price for this game! I know you'll be slying in for a student if you can't get your hands on a comp. 11am start in the pub?
  11. I'm going for 1-1 on Saturday. Higdon & Heffernan the scorers. We haven't had the best of records against Killie recently. We'll need to keep an eye on Dean Shiels, seems to have been playing very well recently. If you'd said we'd get 7 points from Tannadice, Easter Road and Killie at home, I'm sure every one of us would have been delighted.
  12. Enjoyable couple of hours. First time I've seen this group of players. How it was only 1-0 i'll never know. Could have been 6 or 7 very easily. Herman Mboa Mekongo and Keiran MacDonald were standouts for me. Very capable of stepping up if they keep up that level of performance.
  13. Not the best of days for it, but going to head along to this. Nothing else to do today! Mon the 'Well
  14. Well you're obviously one of the clueless c***s that we're talking about here. What do people expect from Higdon? He's up top on his own, and yesterday Law & Humphrey didn't have the best of games, so no-one was getting up top with him to support. You saw the difference is how we've played in the Extra time on Tuesday and for the last 20 minutes yesterday when McHugh came on and were an out and out 4-4-2. Murphy hasn't kicked his own arse since the first half of the Inverness game, and doesn't deserve a start on current form. The biggest asset to MFC? As it stands, no team wants to buy him so he's worth the square root of fuck all to us. I was going to say that I couldn't believe people were booing the substitution of Murphy, but I can, because a section of Motherwell fans are morons.
  15. I think we'll get a couple of new signings announced next weekend. Contracts in England usually run to 30th June, so we'll be waiting on those contracts expiring before we officially announce them. Hopefully 2 or 3 in.
  16. Who won the raffle prizes?
  17. Yeah, as said, fantastic night. Ended it by singing She Wore, She Wore with Stuart McCall.
  18. Hoping for a reaction from the players after 2 poor performances. Get the first choice XI out, and hopefully we get a strong performance to send us into the cup final next week with a bit more positivity. Also, does anyone know where the Killie fans will be housed tomorrow? Is the South or in the POD stand like the last time? Squirrelhumper thinks they'll bring a decent crowd through as it's Eremenko's last game for them.
  19. We'll not take anymore than 5000 on Saturday, the overall crowd will be less than 10,000. Why this game isn't being played at Tynecastle or Easter Road is beyond me. I also predict that the question "Does anyone know how many tickets we've sold so far?" will be asked a further 342 times before Saturday.

    Mark Reynolds

Doesn't really surprise me to be honest. I was never his biggest fan while he was here, though many on this site seem to think he was the dogs bollocks. He doesn't have the physical attributes to be a success in England, he's an intelligant footballer with pace. For me, a move to a European team should have been his next step (France, Italy etc and learn his trade a bit more over there.) As for your league comparisons, a fair assessment. Rangers and Celtic IMO would be mid-table teams in the EPL (similar to the likes of Newcastle and Birmingham i'd say) No chance in hell they'd be anywhere near the top. Others in the league such as Dundee Utd and Hearts could complete in the mid regions of the Championship. Motherwell, Aberdeen, Kilmarnock I believe would be at the top end of League 1, whereas teams like Hamilton & St. Mirren would be in your 19th tier or thereabouts. As for Franny Jeffers, why not? He's looked ok in the games i've seen him so far, it doesn't always work out at every club. If he gets an injury-free run in the SPL, I feel he'll score goals. All the best to SWFC, I had you on my successful weekend coupon at a cracking price!

    Ins & Outs

    Must be true then.....
  22. What are the latest odds for the new manager? Can't find a market on Hills or Ladbrokes
  23. I also hope that continues, however, do you think it may come into JB's head that having went "outside the box" for the previous 3 managers, each time he's been shat on? (2 have fucked off to Aberdeen and the other refused to sign a contract) Someone like Steve Clarke would be ideal IMO, however, I wouldn't be surprised if we got one from the usual merry-go-round this time.
