347 left? I'm worried that I don't one due a ticket scramble! Better get a move on!!
-
Just saw on Twitter than Jamie Murphy is off to Brighton on an undisclosed fee. Did we have a sell on clause in his contract when he went to Sheffield United?
Sure did. 25% too so s nice wee lift!
-
I think there's likely to be less of a scramble after last night's performance and was never really convinced we would sell out our allocation anyway.
Was never going to be a scramble for East Fife away on a midweek evening.

This lad had been playing 1st team football for Reading in the Championship up until Christmas. I am not going to go over the top until he has played a few games, however we are kidding ourselves if you think he will be coming here to be a bit part player. I suspect this guy will more than hold his own in our league. I am expecting him to be a key player for us over the season.

Ticket scramble...

You've answered your own question there... Other transport has become cheaper & more viable than travelling by coach on most occasions.
Part of the beauty of The Bois awayday coaches (and their predecessors) is they don't have to conform to club instruction or strangled by the constitution of the supporters association which has been problematic in itself in recent seasons.
Saturday just goes down to experience. Club subsidising that journey wouldn't have kept the coach roadworthy.
Are you suggesting that a few alcoholic beverages are consumed on their buses? Dreadful behaviour!

Home tie against Airdrie for me!

He must start tomorrow.
Seen on Twitter that he once conceeded a goal. Not good enough and should be sent back to 'Boro.

I reckon we are in for a 0-0 draw. I have just fired a bet on No Goalscorer at 17/2.
They have a fairly solid looking defence with virtually nothing up front. Reckon we will struggle to break them down.
With my history of betting it is very likely the match will finish 4-3!

Looks unlikely that George Long will be back for the season ahead. Howard has been injured for Sheff United and he has been playing pre season.
Adkins says he is happy to go with Long until Howard recovers and is in no rush.

The exchange on academy st usually has a few well fans in on match days, also the phoenix a bit further down on same side is ok, avoid the sports bar on academy st its a shit hole.
I am pretty sure the Sports Bar is where we will find ourselves on Saturday! Always served its purpose well in the past.
Johnny Foxes at night!

We've stayed in there for Inverness Away before mate, it's actually decent given the price. As long as you don't electrocute yourself on some of the sockets hanging out of the walls it's perfectly fine. There's a decent size common room/lounge bit with a big TV and couches if you're having a cargo before heading out to cut down costs too.
Good stuff. So long as it is clean then it will serve its purpose.

I would say that outwith Celtic, we won't face a team as good as Preston this season. Maybe Aberdeen, at a push. So won't be too upset if we lose tonight...
With the amount of beer you are going to consume today you wont remember the score!
-
Does anyone know if Chris Humphrey will be playing, or is he away at the Gold Cup with Jamaica?
I am pretty sure he is away with Jamaica so wont be playing. They made it through to the final!
Heading through from Glasgow on the train about 2pm. Few pints and then off to the match. Last train back to Lanarkshire at the back of 11. Should be a good day!

Franny Jeffers gets a tough time. His link up play was very very good.
Decent signing over the short time he was with us.
-
I also remember it, we won 3-2 it was against Kilmarnock am sure
Was it not St Johnstone?
-
With that description it can surely only be the Ho Ho Hostel...
It's the Inverness Tourist Hostel. Do you know it?

I just can't see the Samson thing happening. I know we were interested in him when he left St Mirren but it goes against what we are trying to achieve with our recruitment policy. The Killie lad has been spot on a few times in the past so I wont complete discount it, however will be disappointed if that is who our number 1 is going to be for the season.
I never really believed that McDonald was going to come back. He has one big contract left in him and a 12month deal in China could set him up for the rest of his days (I am sure he wont be short of a bob or two anyway with his contracts at Celtic & 'Boro). The only thing that might put him off is taking a young family to a country which will be really hard to settle in. Maybe a small glimmer of hope.

Sammy Wightman that used to run The Joker in Mossend (sure he has the pool hall now) loves a bus. Sure if you give him a bell he might be doing something...
-
If it had been announced earlier then I could have been tempted with a jaunt across the water but doubt many will make it at short notice.

Friends Fare was only available for the return leg, with it being £45+ for the Glasgow to Inverness section of the journey. 4 of us heading up by car on the Saturday morning and stayting over.
Must be something on in Inverness that weekend as hotels are either sold out or £200+ a room. We are booked into a shithole hostel just round the corner from the train station. For less than a score for a night, you get what you pay for!
Really looking forward to it. Confident the match is going to be on the Saturday after their defeat last night but are covered if they do an Aberdeen and hump Astra in Romania next week.
Looking forward to another cracking night in Inverness. The midweek match at the end of the 2013/2014 season kicked off a cracking evening!

As much as he is a Motherwell legend, I wouldnt have him anywhere near our club in a coaching capacity.
-
Perhaps, but I think it's a stretch to say he'll be the difference between struggling at the bottom to pushing for the top 6.
His influence on the team is huge. Not only does he offer from an ability perspective but also brings the best out of others.
He would be head and shoulders the most talented player in our squad should be sign up.

Cummins had a few honking games for us but when he first came into the team had a few good games as well. Not as inept as some Motherwell fans remember.
Irrespective of what we think of them, good to see most of the players we released have picked up clubs at a decent level...
He was never good enough to be a first team player and appears his attitude when on loan to Ayr and Stirling Albion was shocking at best. I am sure their fans laughed at how poor he was.

Baraclough has two more matches for me. I'm not firmly in the out camp but I'm not a million miles off it.
East Fife should be straight forward and Killie are awful. Two wins or he can't piss off!
