Looking forward to this match. Will be the first full 90mins that I have seen since Christmas. Just been catching hightlights after every match.
As mentioned, we are up against a really good Aberdeen side who are by far the 2nd best team in the league. Performances appear to be improving but it will be a big ask to win this one. Would be great to sneak a point.
Never say never and if Aberdeen have an off night then a Scott McDonald goal could be enough to get all three points.
-
So how much are you betting on us to win then?
I will throw something at it but will wait and see how I get on with Cheltenham during the week.
I think he should bet his winnings from his accumulator on Saturday and not a penny more, it'll be better that way.
Haha! That was a double that ended up as a single (Derby) and got humped by a 93rd and 95th minute goal! Just scrapped profit at the weekend!
Aberdeen is a cracking night out. Hope everyone who heads up has a cracking time.

I think it is unlikely that we will pick anything up here but surely the 8/1 on us to win is quite a big price?

It is what we have all been wanting for a long time. Really impressed with the way the new regime is going about its business. This lad is talented and now to give him game time to prove it!
-
Scott McDonald is 7/1 to score first tomorrow with SkyBet. WIth it likely that he is going to lead the line again in the same way as he did against ICT, this seems like decent value.

Bradfordistan? West Yorkshire?
Well its rotten over here...
-
God damn it Mitch! you have been away about a week! However I am pleased you also give it a listen!
Haha! Very true.
It is a cracking listen. When is it happen with Big Les?

I see yer location is Chicago, is that still the case? I like the fact we get positive feedback from folk in USA, Oz and darkest England.
What about the land of curry?

He has been an ok signing over the piece and made a good contribution last term. Saying that with age and injury record I don't expect him to be at Fir Park next season.
-
He has just popped up on Facebook as a suggested friend.
Without a doubt he looks Clark Kent in his profile picture!
-
Think it's pretty clear from his press conference that he's up here to play as a striker.
Thought that was crystal clear as well. He mentioned in 2/3 times at the start of his press conference, which leads me to believe that we will go with 2 up top!

Assault charges and convictions don't seem to have hampered Paul McGowan's career but clubs seem happy to overlook these things when you've got a bit of talent.
As you have said, he has a bit of talent so clubs overlook it. Reid on the other hand is not good enough for SPFL level and if found guilty (which needs to be done before the club take any action) then the club should get rid of him. He will still pick up a gig at a lower league club.
-
Excellent signing and it is one of the things we need (as well as a decent centre half!!).
He has the ability to score goals and it is something we need badly.
Welcome back Skippy!

Dreamt the score last night.
Put a line on with this in mind.
Will report back.
Unless it had Motherwell 0 then it wont be coming up.

Fully expect the club to stand by him until he is found guilty/not guilty.
Is it bad that I'm hoping we can release him from his contract on the back of this?
-
Idiot getting caught.
-
Oh i think if he's found guilty he will be jail bound.
I know something you don't know...
Either tell the story or wrap yer pish!

Listened whilst I was travelling today. Christ I didn't half want to tan my wrists by the end of it.

Should he stay or should he go!
Really enjoy the podcast. Brilliant stuff and great for me to hear some good well related chat from abroad!
-
as i have said before the only signing that can be accounted for during this short term is obrien as he and we knew what we would be getting, the other 7 deserve some time
Once you have removed Baracloughs cock from your throat and balls from your chin you will see what the rest of the 'Well support do.
The man is a joke.

Only seen us once around Christmas time but results have been nothing short of shocking!
Time is coming to an end! Disaster appointment!!

*Just to add. We have little facilities to be able to offer the service at our club at the moment & I'd doubt that'll change even if the law was changed
Surely it could be done in the stands with the exception of the East Stand? I have not been in the Cooper Stand for years but could turn one of the kiosks into a bar area and do the same in the South. Main stand might be a little harder.

Its been a few years now since we last had a bookies facility in Fir Park (from memory it was around when Jaxx took the sponsorship deal.
In times when we should be looking to maximise the revenue then is this something that should be looked at? Could it be run inhouse? In the age of iPhone betting apps is there much of a place for a bookies inside the stadium?
Would be interested to see what it was worth when Ladbrokes packed it in. Might not be big enough revenue for a big UK gambling company but a local independant bookie might consider it.

Is it such a hardship to go without a drink for 90 mins, i think not, in my case i drive to every game so i would not be drinking and i suspect that there are a lot more fans in the same position. I am old enough to remember going to games when taking in a " Carry out" was the norm, and at that time football stadiums were not nice places to be, i am not so sure if there really is a demand from fans to have the law changed.
That is a shit arguement. It isnt about not being able to go 90mins without a drink. Its about having the choice in the same way you would if you went to the cinema. Also a nice cold pint on a spring/summer day would be very welcome and enhance the experience.
Someone could make the same arguement that you should be able to go 90mins without something to eat at a football match...

I don't think we have ever been longer, with the exception of a trip to Ibrox or Parkhead. Even then, you were only getting around 8s in recent years!
