  1. The day the tickets went on sale was, luckily, a bank holiday. I made the call to go over to Fir Park just in case. 2hr queue, but tickets for both legs secured. I had the fear going to Ibrox on the Thurs - given our record there - and remember telling everyone I'd take us keeping it to a 1-0 defeat, particularly because our home form was ok. Policing at Ibrox was a joke as usual, with lighters and coins landing all around. Half-time and we're 2-0 up. I have a sore hip after ending up 3 rows in front celebrating the 2nd. Disbelief in the foyer/pie queue and a sense of not knowing quite how to feel. Second half was still pretty tense, despite, going 3 up especially when McGregor scored. Boyd had a few chances as well. Got out of Ibrox and walked to central via Govan Road, in amongst the Rangers fans. Remember phoning my dad in a state of shock/joy. 2nd leg for me was a formality after one specific moment - Zaliukas blazing one over from 6 yards just before half time. The game was up for Rangers after that. I think it would take a cup win to eclipse that victory at Ibrox. Huge performance in pretty much the most partisan/hostile environment we could get.
  2. The 'second operation' is a bit disingenuous no? Is it not just routine aftercare?
  3. I think they either get special dispensation, or they just take the fine. Happened before, but can't remember the circumstances.
  4. ... On the bright side, Aberdeen have Celtic on Sun, so could be back in third. Livi away at Ibrox as well.
  5. That's it, just let Eduard to run into space.
  6. Even given inflation, there still aren't all that many >£1m transactions going on in Scottish Football (outwith those involving Rangers and Celtic).
  7. St Johnstone were looking at him as well I think
  8. Livi have re-signed Dolly Menga. Perhaps someone in for Dykes?
  9. I'm sure the club have considered all the whys and wherefores. Decent move for the boy and a decent fee. Encouraging that we now seem to be commanding better fees, which in turn assists with squad budgets etc.
  10. Fully intended going but was holding off as it was only 1 ticket per person for Well Society and I told my bro in law I'd take him. ... Will just take him to Hampden
  11. No coincidence that the time we horsed Rangers in the play-offs we were managed by someone who appeared largely 'sheltered' from the deferential mindset with regards to them. You could argue they were genuinely inferior, but that was the case in the infamous League Cup defeat under McCall which was 100% down to shitebaggery.
  12. Happy enough with that. Should take a decent crowd.
  13. Routine Victory Ayr away please
  14. Easy does it through to the next round. Not at game, so watching in pub with bro in law (in Killie) slight animosity from manager in pub, which has confused me tbh(regular there).
  15. This nonsense does my head in. Another example of actively discouraging fans. It won't be close to a sell out and people may make late decisions to go etc, particularly at this time of year. General question - Are tickets bought online printable, or do they need to be collected?
  16. I'd expect any fee for Hastie to be in the 2020 accounts, given that the financial year ends April and Hastie left in May - You then have the time taken for the subsequent negotiations etc.
