  1. Looks like we're probably going to be taking the 15,000 allocation. Just off phone for ticket there and apparently only P4 left in South and sections A1>A5 sold in West.
  2. Crossmyloof is also an option. About a 15-20 min walk to Hampden, but its generally quieter and you have a whole host of pubs en-route. Its the nearest to The Shed as well if anyone's going there beforehand
  3. In terms of SPFL voting rights, yes. These are decisions which aren't decided by club votes though, rather directly by The SFA/authorities. I would say there's far more even-handedness down south. I've never heard any debates around allocations, the neutrality of Wembley, the Man U end being referred to etc. ...Anyway, I'll leave it at that. Its a general observation and dont want keep taking the thread off-topic
  4. It's obviously not Alan Burrows' fault, but I think its the broader point around it being a supposedly neutral venue. As usual certain clubs are accommodated or 'treated more fairly' than others. The justification given by the authorities is logistics, which isnt a particularly valid argument in this and many other cases. This sort of pandering needs to stop, for a variety of reasons. I don't think its healthy for the game. We need to try and get to a position (off the park at least) where clubs have equal influence. I guess the fact you say it would piss them off is key - On what grounds would receiving the same treatment as every other club cause them to complain? Anyway, my opinion on the matter. Just to be clear, not a gripe at Alan/The club - its being run well and heading in the right direction.
  5. This will probably be answered in due course, but what would be the craic re cup semis/finals etc. Would there be pre-sale restrictions/codes sent etc or would it search a db for matches? If its just the software we're licensing I guess that answers itself, It'll just bolt on to the current db.
  6. Vancouver Whitecaps apparently weighing up a £1m move for Kipré (bbc gossip page)
  7. If there are injury concerns up-front for the final, could always sign Kenny Miller.
  8. This is good in theory, but the ref will likely have other ideas.
  9. How long after today's game (if Celtic win) will it take Rodgers to start the mind games and mention Motherwell's physicality?
  10. https://twitter.com/Alan_Burrows/status/985442231707406336?s=19
  11. Seems Mr Burrows agrees “Warnock sees Carson as a summer capture and is ready to pay a bargain £100,000 fee for him whether the Welsh club goes up or not.” Can only presume a zero has fell off! https://t.co/pwzXIgYYWO
  12. According to the BBC gosdip page (via the sun I know). Cardiff to offer 100k for Carson. They can fuck off with that kind of opening bid. Did Celtic not offer more?
  13. True, but it would be the more horrible game to lose. You can just imagine all the wanking about being 'back' etc. More so from the media. A soft penalty with minimal contact against Celtic would do. These things apparently even themselves up.
  14. Motherwell: Carson, Tait, Grimshaw, Cadden, Main, Bowman, Rose, Dunne, Aldred, Kipré, Campbell Motherwell subs: Griffiths, Bigirimana, Frear, Çiftci, Newell, Maguire, MacLean
  15. Starting to get the buzz now. Seeing quite a few Motherwell scarves about. Bring it on! Lets do this. SIWY
  16. Kipré, Bowman Dunne and Tait's contacts all extended
  17. Cheers, I thought the trains were totally pumped due to this: https://www.scotrail.co.uk/sites/default/files/assets/download_ct/web_12320_lanarkshire_14.pdf I'm the otherside of Glasgow, so will have to get a v early train/bus, pick up ticket and then probably get one of those trains to Kings Park
  18. Not sure if this has been mentioned, but there are Rail Engineering works on Sat impacting Motherwell. So if you're looking to go to the game from Motherwell or planning to pick up a ticket on Sat by train, there will be issues. Facing this problem myself as ticket didnt get sent out, so was going to collect on Sat AM.
  19. Looking forward to sat, but the downer for me is that it leads to a final v one of the OF, which from previous experience arent particularly enjoyable outings.
  20. Yeah, he was quite a bit of fresh air in the beginning, but he's succumbed to the Celtic fans' propaganda and is playing to the crowd. In the process he's becoming somewhat of a gobshite. Deluded Brendan indeed.
  21. This might have been touched on before... I'm not sure how Kipre can get a yellow added. Taking away the fact he's already been punished - And I'm maybe over-simplifying here, but Kipre was 'charged' with Violent Conduct - A sending-off offence. There aren't degrees of violent conduct. Where has the yellow come from? You can't downgrade it from 'serious' violent conduct to 'regular' violent conduct etc. It's a red or nothing. Probably looking way too much into it, but seems like a fudge to me. Anyway...
  22. I thought that too, particularly as he said he shouldnt have reacted.
  23. Alan Burrows was on Twitter yesterday saying that there are "(Much) bigger clubs circling" and that Kipré is "courting interest from BIG clubs in England and abroad". Make of that what you will.
