  1. Motherwell + Easter Road = Motherwell defeat Hoping we sneak a point but doubt it our record there is utter mince.
  2. Waiting to hear the Celtic fans calling for sanctions against the club so they have a slight chance of getting 2nd place
  3. I would say the Motherwell just now are exactly the same as they have been for the last 20 odd years. There is the odd blip like the Malpas era or finishing 2nd but in general we are no better or worse than 20 years ago. The reason we are now finishing top 6 & challenging for Europe is because of the demise of the other teams. The old power houses of Aberdeen, Dundee Utd, Hibs, Dundee etc have fallen away & seem to be getting worse each year. Even the top teams of Rangers, Celtic & Hearts aren't a patch on what they used to be. While these teams have been faltering Motherwell have remained a constant and as such increased their standing in the league. In short Motherwell the same as always the other teams pish making us look better than we are.
  4. Doing a big jobby in your pants in public is embarassing. Losing a game of football can be frustrating & annoying but not exactly embarassing.
  5. Not at all im saying the OF are manky bastards. Although to be fair i reckon most home supporters consider the away fans to be manky bastards therefore the Utd stewards probably did consider our mob to be manky bastards. I just think for security reasons as much as anything i don't think any away supporter would be able to gain access to the club's main office.
  6. It was Professor Plum in the Main Stand with the Smoke Bomb case closed. Not sure going to the office would work anyway tbh if it was us at home against the OF do you honestly think a bunch of they manky bastards would get into out office on a matchday to make a complaint?
  7. Were you pished when you typed the first half of the post & sober by the time you reached 'How many.." Don't think iv'e ever seen such a dramatic change in typing in one post. Billiant
  8. Is this the first time we wore the silver strip? maybe we should wear it more often might improve our home form
  9. A Swan dive on Saturday for a Utd penalty? Im gonna guess yes & the ref will be fooled coz someone so gifted is too good to dive aren't they?
  10. Discussing the same point over & over again in different threads?
  11. And coming on here & moaning about these people time & again achieves what exactly?
  12. I've never understood why people boo players at a game when it's so counter-productive. If someone is playing gash then giving them dogs abuse isn't gonna fill them with confidence and make them suddenly play a blinder so what's the point? And this they paid their money they can say what they want is pish as well. Don't believe i've ever seen someone stand up in a cinema & call the actor a wanker after having paid their money to go to the movies. Don't really see why anyone bothers complaining about it on here either. If your at the game & you think someone is acting like a twat towards a player then tell them to their face there & then or better still lamp them in the face there and then.
  13. St Johnstone all over again. They will have 10 men behind the ball & we'll spend the whole game huffing & puffing but unable to break them down. The only upside is i don't think they have the talent to score a break away goal so 0-0 final score.
  14. I just think it's funny how when the draw was made i was criticised for saying it was the second hardest draw we could get as they are an SPL team. But everyone said i was talking pish & it was a great draw.
  15. Good to hear various opinions which was the whole point of the thread. I wasn't having a knee jerk reaction to the HIbs game as i don't know much about it. It's just been my feeling for a while that his lack of willingness to make subs even for a player who is fatigued & an apparent lack of plan b for when things are going wrong on the park is a bit worrying. Sure we are playing good football & doing well but there comes a time in most games where you have to adapt to the changes the opposition make and we simply aren't doing that. A few people have mentioned times when we've been behind and managed a draw but my question was when were we behind & managed a win & the only answer has been Aberdeen almost 10 months ago. That's like saying if we go a goal down then it's game over or if we are lucky we will scrape a draw. The modern game dictates that you can use 14 players but we finish most games have only used 11 no matter how good or bad they are performing. Sometimes you need to freshen things up & sometimes you need to adapt to the opposition and we don't appear to do that.
  16. The Big Shaggers free kick against Dunfermline which kept us up.
  17. Which is why I'm saying putting a few of the boys from the bench on could have helped. The worst thing that could have happened is we would still have got humped but at least these boys had got more game time. In the end we got humped with no positives at all. All players have off days that's fair enough but when they are having an off day instead of persevering with them the manager should be saying ok it's not your day come off & let someone else on instead of sitting there thinking he's been rank for 70mins but I'm sure he'll come good in the last 20. And i still don't know if we have ever came from behind and won a game under McCall.
  18. Would anyone on the bench be any worse than the team that remained on the park against St Johnstone? Putting some of them on with 20/30 mins left would have done no worse than keeping faith with the players who were playing utter pish. It also doesn't explain why he can't change the formation and tactics when the ones he's using have clearly not worked for the last 70mins.
  19. It appears to me that when we are winning or drawing McCall knows what he's doing but as soon as we go a goal down he doesn't have a clue how to change it around. I honestly cannot remember the last time we came from behind to win a game. Have we ever achieved that under McCall's reign? Take the Dunfermline game a few weeks back. The first half they never had a kick of the ball so at half time the manager changed some personnel & the formation & they came right back into it. Now compare that to the St Johnstone game. We looked as dangerous as a yellow duster in the first half so at half time McCall keeps the same personnel & formation & in the second half we are still as dangerous as a yellow duster. It does't take a tactical genius to work out that if you are getting beat & playing piss poor then either the personnel or the formation has to be changed to try & get back into the game. Yes we came from a goal behind against HIbs and almost won it but at home to the bottom of the league we still ended up getting beat. Now i think McCall is doing a fine job but can anyone tell me when we last won a game from a losing position due to a personnel or formational change?
  20. Anyone got a radio link outside the UK? Radio Scotland has got some shinty shite on & it says football's om 810mw which isn't available on ibbc or something.
  21. One of Motherwell subs is a bloke called Sorbes. Who he?
  22. Ian-in-Oz

    New Songs

To the tune of Day-O Daley Daley Daley come & he scores a goal Got one Got two Got three goals in him Daley comes & he scores a goal Yeah im bored
  23. Doesn't matter how much of a game changer he is with McCall's refusal to play subs the only game he'll be changing is see who can get the most skelfs in their arse.
  24. How do you know he just didn't wanna play for Motherwell anymore? A slightly higher wage & a new challenge might have been enough to make him go. But as i said earlier he didn't look at the colour of the grass on the other side of the fence before he jumped it so fuck him.
