  1. Celtic are the world's worst at it. 18000 for a cup game against Dumbarton a couple of years ago, and they claimed almost 60000 I'm sure.
  2. Pie is 12 foot 3 high. He's got a nice everything!
  3. Normally I'd agree, but I recall when we bought Willie Falconer he scored a rake of goals in single-goal wins which pulled us clear.
  4. Wee couple of pics from last night. Wee bit of somebody's napper but as you can see, just before Gow sweeps the ball home Bauben almost scores a peach of an oggy which strikes his own player on the line.
  5. Just thought I'd mention this is the last year of the CIS sponsorship, nothing else!
  6. They aint sponsoring it after this season far as I'm aware.
  7. Went for Craggs. Solid (that one "clearance apart of course!)....
  8. Craig Levein used to bleat on about how Kenneth was the next big thing. Guess with that kind of recommendation you're bound to be a complete ass.
  9. Thought we played really well in spells tonight, more or less solid at the back and against an improved visiting side we thoroughly deserved to win that. Felt Collum should have been more strict on some of their challenges, but delighted to see Gow scoring. Thought he did well tonight and was there at the right time.
  10. Aye, yer right. Main was in goal the following week I'm sure and was more than pissed at Softie's equaliser.
  11. Wonder what has gone wrong there. Two 5-0 drubbings back-to-back now, and the latter to a side which Hamilton hammered 7-0 just a week ago.
  12. Must've missed that! Same attitude from the players on Tuesday will see us through I think.
  13. So was Alan Main's fizzer. Wonderful watching him look horrifed as not once, but twice, his own defence combined to give us our first win there since the mid-seventies!
  14. Ha ha, that brings back the memories. Freddie's nightmares. That was our first victory at Tannadice in almost 20 years, and we were back a week later for the late, late mad mental celebrations of Softie's equaliser. They had one shot on target today and that was the penalty, thoroughly deserved win.
  15. Like this one from April....
  16. Club has it right. Couldn't agree more.
  17. Realistically, you start each season chasing third. We are still third.
  18. Shite happens. No one outside of the Old Firm could cope with those sort of injuries, they still had two top level international strikers to put on from the start, a side full of international players. Aye, we collapsed, but to be honest it's three (or even one) point(s) we never "budgeted" for. Far, far more important is next week.
  19. Gotta love Wattie's preview of tomorrow....."It's a bit early for speculation (linking goalkeeper Allan McGregor with Manchester United). We have just finished one transfer window! "We are talking about him playing for Rangers and Scotland at the moment. We've got big games coming up, so we are not really concerned about any speculation. We are not even anywhere near Christmas yet. "He has been excellent for us over the season, not just currently. It's been brought to the fore because he has come back into the international set-up and got a few games there. "But, if you've been watching Rangers over the last few seasons, his level of consistency and standard of performance has been terrific and he has been excellent for us over that period."
  20. Magic night, remember it so well. In true Motherwell style we followed it up with a 0-2 home defeat to Hibs!
  21. Translated (well, sort of).......... MCEE: Salim Lazreg sign after an offer from Motherwell ... PUBLIE LE : 12-10-2010 | 00:00 | PAR N. PUBLISHED ON: 12-10-2010 | 00:00 | BY N. Djender Djender «Il devait signer à Motherwell, mais le MCEE l'a rappelé pour lui annoncer qu'il était qualifié» "He had to sign in Motherwell, but the MCEE recalled to him that he was qualified" Diminuer la taille du texte Decrease text size Taille par défaut du texte Default text size Agrandir la taille du texte Enlarge text size Réagir à l'article Comment on Article Imprimer l'article Print Article var addthis_config = { services_exclude : 'print' } On ne sait jamais à quel moment de sa carrière la chance va sourire à un footballeur. You never know at what point in his career luck will smile to a footballer. Salim Lazreg just brushing against him in the club Motherwell, who plays in the Scottish first division. Indeed, the Algerian 21, who went through the training center of Sedan, trained since Monday, September 27, is a good fortnight with the Motherwell first team with which he played a few games full 90 minutes each. During our telephone interview, Salim Lazreg told us that "the coach and the leaders were pleasantly surprised by my defensive qualities and my escape offensive that made them remember, as they say, the game my friend Nadir Belhadj. C'est un grand honneur pour moi d'être comparé à lui». It is a great honor to be compared to him. " D'ailleurs même Craig Brown, le coach du club écossais, a fait la comparaison avec l'international algérien. Moreover, even Craig Brown, the coach of Scottish club, made the comparison with the Algerian international. «Tu as le même profil que Belhadj», a dit l'ancien sélectionneur d'Ecosse des U21 au sujet de Lazreg, qu'il voulait bien garder dans son effectif. "You have the same profile as Belhadj," said former Scotland coach of the U21 about Lazreg, he was willing to keep in its workforce. «Il devait signer à Motherwell, mais le MCEE l'a rappelé pour lui annoncer qu'il était qualifié» "He had to sign in Motherwell, but the MCEE recalled to him that he was qualified" Mais, au moment où le secrétaire du club écossais allait entamer les démarches nécessaires pour faire signer cet excellent latéral droit, voilà que Salim Lazreg reçoit un appel du président du MC El Eulma, Bouden Embarek qui lui signifiait qu'il venait d'être qualifié pour la saison en cours. But when the secretary of the Scottish club would begin the necessary steps to sign this excellent side right now that Salim Lazreg receives a call from the president of the MC El Eulma, Bouden Embarek which meant he had to be qualified for the current season. Because, before going to monetize their talent in Scotland, Salim Lazreg original intention was to win the championship in Algeria to hit in the eye of coach. «Je ne savais pas que j'étais qualifié, c'est pour cela que je suis parti en Ecosse. "I did not know I was qualified, that is why I left Scotland. Mon objectif à moyen terme est de me faire connaître auprès de Benchikha. My medium term goal is to acquaint me with Benchikha. C'est pour cela que j'ai décidé de venir jouer en Algérie», nous a confié Lazreg qui avait déjà porté le maillot des Verts chez les jeunes catégories. That's why I decided to come play in Algeria, told us Lazreg who had worn the Green youth categories. Dès l'été prochain en Scotish Premier League si… le MCEE le lui permet Next summer in Scotish Premier League if ... MCEE allows it Lazreg se voit donc obligé de revenir en Algérie, qu'il a rallié hier lundi, afin de se joindre à l'effectif du MCEE, tout en gardant les contacts avec les dirigeants de Motherwell qui lui ont signifié que les portes lui seront grandes ouvertes dès l'été prochain. Lazreg is therefore compelled to return to Algeria, which he joined last Monday to join the staff of MCEE, keeping contacts with leaders of Motherwell, having served as the doors it will open wide next summer. «J'ai signé un contrat de 3 ans avec le MCEE, mais je pense qu'ils vont me libérer si Motherwell leur fait une belle offre au mercato d'été», a espéré ce latéral droit qui rêve que cette saison soit enfin la sienne. "I signed a 3 year contract with the MCEE, but I think they will release me if Motherwell makes them a good offer in summer transfer market," hoped that this dream right side this season is finally own. C'est tout le mal qu'on lui souhaite. That's all the evil that he wants. Lire la suite: http://translate.googleusercontent.com/tra...g#ixzz12F9cqotg

All the best, Kid Kirk. Hope your back to normal real soon.
  23. I took this one further down the East....
  24. Always remember the brilliant pic in the paper of Bobby Russell and Davie Cooper celebrating the goal...and the one of an extremely fed up Ray Wilkins as Coop went past.
