  1. Casagolda, I thought, really looked useful on Wednesday night and showed huge amounts of promise. Much fitter, sharper and more agile than his first appearance, and a physical presence as well.
  2. Casagolda to score the winner for Motherwell on Saturday. You just know it!
  3. I was impressed with Casagolda last night, really is beginning to look the part. Nice to have him and Gow to bring on causing more problems for teams.
  4. Duberry must have had more than half-a-dozen fouls in the first 40 minutes or so, no card for persistance there.
  5. Far as I know, there were 3361 winners last night..........
  6. Blackman struck a hat-trick in the 4-0 Clydesdale Bank Premier League win over St Johnstone at Fir Park. The forward took his tally to eight SPL goals from 10 starts on the eve of his 21st birthday and Brown is eager to keep him after his loan deal expires in January. Brown was delighted to hear Blackburn had also won, at Newcastle, and hopes to capitalise on his colleague's good mood. "I always phone him (Allardyce) after he wins and tell him he doesn't need another striker," the former Scotland manager said. "We would be to anxious keep him. I look for the Blackburn result every game because, the more they win, the more chance we have of keeping him. "He wants to stay, we're hopeful. Sam's been very good with me. "The deal was arranged in a swimming pool in Qatar in the summer, we were both commentating on the World Cup for Al-Jazeera."
  7. You have to wonder about that. No way did they have over 60% possession! Delighted with that, we cruised the game and never needed to up gear at any time. As easy a 4-0 win as we will ever have, really didn't feel like they would even score and although we gave them as much of the ball as they wanted second 45 (and it was never 60% of it) you felt like we were taking it easy ahead of Saturday. Game done in the first half, Humphrey immense.

    Cup Final Video

Just had to watch it. Brilliant. Sad too, watching Davie Cooper hand the trophy to Phil O'Donnell as they collected their medals.
  9. IF he's still in a job of course...............
  10. Some of the football Inverness played was far better than either of our next three opponents have played this season, which is why we should fear none of them. They are a tidy side and it speaks volumes for us we can go there and win.
  11. You'll need to register to see the posts, but the ICT view on the game is interesting. Entertaining, we had width, and deserved to win........ Caley Forum
  12. Currently 1-0 Livingston, about 30 minutes gone. Twitting
  13. SPL decided to schedule a programme for then, that's all.
  14. That's a quite fantastic result today. Brilliant stuff.
  15. Hope they've relaid it since we played there. Was a dreadful surface.
  16. Inverness are no mugs. They did a job at Ibrox last week, but are dreadful at home. We are superb away usually. So, all being equal, job done.
  17. Saint Mirren will get him. They specialise in signing lower division dross.
  18. Far as I understand Thompson is getting criticism for not applying the laws of the game. Denying a clear goalscoring opportunity is a sending off offence.
  19. Missed that! Did they say "ballsed"????
  20. Ref ballsed it big time. No booking for the penalty (or sending off which it should have been). Had this been Celtic or Rangers you'd never have heard the end of it.
  21. It will obviously mean the home league game against Saint Mirren will move to a midweek slot, and a lower than normal attendance probably. Still, think it's a great idea to have these league cup tie at weekends.

    Joe Wark

Sad to hear. Pretty sure Joe did play in that Bobath charity game a few years ago now, did you play in that Busta?
  23. Why the F*ck can't we beat them? It's football. Anything can happen. Who'd have thought Hercules would have gone to Barcelona this season and won 2-0?
  24. Prior to signing Falconer, we'd been conceeding but no scoring at all. Indeed, prior to winning at Falkirk on 23rd January, we'd gone the previous 14 games scoring just twice. I know Falconer didn't score in a few games, but his goals and input certainly made a massive difference in keeping us up that season.
