  1. Nice set! Wouldn't mind one of those myself one day. Kinda difficiult getting good pics way back in the East Stand!

    St Mirren

Jenno for me. Was always prompting others to get more involved, and worked furiously for the lads.
  3. Nice entertaiing football is pretty to watch, but it's not going to get us into Europe or away from the drop. Each to their own I guess, but for me, this has got us to third and I'd have it every week. Winning in football is everything, it's a results-driven business. Ask Hibs fans.
  4. Last-minute Took a injury time leveller from the homesters. Still, a good point.
  5. The link you posted up on Facebook shows it best I think, superb finish. Hilarious build-up right enough with the heroes welcome for Skacel....fiished with a superb Motherwell goal.
  6. Won't be many on here had to endure the crap of the 80s when getting a bus home with all windows intact and managing to avoid a kicking after the game were considered amazing achievements. Not our fault they couldnae get promoted in 1982!
  7. Spencer's got a new job. Hope they take a security deposit before letting him have a house and a car....... New Job
  8. Fecker is clearly mellowing big-time. Not so long ago you couldn't have give him a winning jackpot lottery ticket to give someone else praise.
  9. That's one fantastic, brilliant win. Shots on target, incidentally - FHW 1 Motherwell 11!!!!!
  10. That don't half look like Stephen Hughes........ Official Site
  11. The Draw for the Fourth Round of The Co-operative Insurance Cup took place at Hampden Park this afternoon. The draw is as follow:- Aberdeen v Falkirk St. Johnstone v Celtic Motherwell v Dundee United Kilmarnock v Rangers Dates for ties: Tuesday 26th or Wednesday 27th October 2010 Edit - Ah, see someone else has already posted it. Never mind, in case like me you didn't see it earlier...............
  12. In true FHW style, they have had five booked in addition to a straight red. Good professional win tonight for us.
  13. Watch yer motors on Saturday.... Aberdeen footballer Chris Maguire has been charged with vandalising a car outside a city nightclub at the weekend. The 21-year-old striker was spoken to by police officers after a Mitsubishi sports car was damaged outside Tiger Tiger in the early hours of Sunday. The footballer was later charged in connection with the incident at Shiprow. An Aberdeen Football Club spokesperson declined to comment.
  14. That's one miserable home attendance that. The "main stand" looks completely empty. Smoke bombs are one thing, the cost of getting into a game is the real reason for the low, low crowds.
  15. No problem. Long as the SFA stump the cash up then fine. They waste enough money on shite as it is, so why not pay for this?
  16. Not the 19s, but the Under 16s had a good, solid game against Rangers. 0-0 draw, but even at that age group the future looks bright.... 0-0
  17. And again. Another good win and top of the league! Well on top in U19 League Recent signing Steven Howarth scored an early goal as Motherwell beat Hamilton Accies 3-0 at Linlithgow this afternoon to go top of the Clydesdale Bank U19 League. The former Clyde striker (pictured above) netted after just five minutes but Accies missed a penalty before second-half goals from Josh Watt and Lee Erwin gave Well their third successive victory in a game that was brought forward from September 11.
  18. One in the eye for the many who insist Craggs is past it. Anything but.
  19. Gow's changed a bit.... The Scotsman strikes again. Tell you what is a disgrace, the subbing in "Scotland's national newspaper" at the moment. You might not know what Alan Gow looks like. But the national team captain?
  20. Think that bounce game result proved that there is sufficient quality coming through to support what we have. Better to sign no-one than panic into signing utter dross like we have in the past.
  21. Would love to have seen it though, I can imagine Jovial Jeffries was as purple as ever at the end.
  22. S'funny, can't find any mention on their own official website....................
  23. Paul Quinn scored that day, brought us to 1-1 before an unfortunate Chris Porter oggy gave them the lead again. I remember that game against Inverness well, think Phil was at fault for their goal (82) but more than made up with it by scoring a superb header (85) and helping to win the winning penalty I'm sure (90) in the pouring rain.
  24. Post split dates are April 23 and 30, May 7, 11 and 15th mate.
