  1. Ross McGovern got one on Saturday, and he's not any better than Fraser I'd imagine.
  2. It'sa nota far froma da chippy......
  3. Playing FHW, Hearts, call them what you will. Just taken the lead through Pollock. 1-0 Motherwell. Follow it on Twitter... Twitt........
  4. Rangers are moaning = something will now get done.... boo-hoo

  6. Motherwell have mounted a challenge to the Scottish Premier League's post-split fixtures after joining St Mirren in condemning the announced schedule. St Mirren will take no action despite being unhappy at being handed a third game away to relegation rivals Falkirk. But Motherwell chairman John Boyle has promised to pursue "all avenues of protest" against the fixtures. They face a third fixture away to Celtic, leading Boyle to call an emergency club board meeting on Monday. And he has been left unhappy following initial talks with the SPL. "The board at Motherwell FC are deeply concerned about the outcome of the post-split fixtures and its implications for the sporting and financial position of the club," the Fir Park club said in a statement. I feel it is a disgrace that this decision has been taken by the SPL St Mirren chairman Stewart Gilmour "We are seeking an immediate discussion with the SPL on what has happened and why and have a duty of care to our fans, shareholders and employees to ensure that the apparent inequity we have been asked to suffer is remedied. "We understand that the SPL cannot please everyone with every fixture decision, but the decision-making process has resulted in a deeply unfair outcome both competitively and financially and we cannot let that stand." Boyle's side finished in the top six but face a third trip of the season to Celtic Park. Well's chairman is also unhappy that their two remaining home matches will not be played on Saturdays, which he claims will mean a loss in corporate hospitality revenue. Boyle also claims that there was no meeting of the SPL fixtures committee ahead of Saturday's announcement of the remaining games. Those were announced on Saturday evening after Hearts' 1-0 victory over Kilmarnock ensured that the Edinburgh side would join Well, Hibernian, Dundee United, Celtic and leaders Rangers in the top six. St Mirren chairman Stewart Gilmour is angry that his side will face a third trip of the season to Falkirk Stadium. The Buddies find themselves in the bottom six and, following Saturday's 2-1 defeat away to Falkirk, are now level with the Bairns at the foot of the table, with Kilmarnock just a point ahead. MY SPORT: DEBATE Give your thoughts on the SPL fixtures Gilmour did not think there was any point in mounting a challenge similar to Motherwell's. "It is a waste of energy," he told BBC Scotland. However, the St Mirren chairman remains unhappy and stood by his earlier comments made on the club website. "We are in a fight for SPL survival along with Kilmarnock and Falkirk and it seems grossly unfair that we have been asked to go and visit one of them for a third time this season," he had said. "Surely the three obvious candidates for relegation should have played each other on equal terms. "I feel it is a disgrace that this decision has been taken by the SPL and it would appear to put us at a disadvantage in the relegation battle. "This only goes to highlight one of the deficiencies of having a 12-team league."
  7. Boston Globe Seems to think Arnoux is still coming here.....
  8. Our own demise in the cup at Inverness, Ross County turning over Celtic, Raith over Aberdeen - three examples of why the league should be extened.
  9. SPL Explanation.... Some clubs, but not certain others, eh?
  10. Maybe not, but neither will ever face 20 away games in a season and just 18 at home. That's my point. Don't matter if you have to go to a single venue three times, it's still only going to be 19 away, 19 home for both of them.
  11. Anoyone bar the Old Firm........
  12. Good luck with a crammed end of season. I used to play for Afan Lido many years ago, always a kicking match against Port Talbot who aint doing so bad at the moment. I see they've got Bangor City in the Welsh Cup Final on May 2nd. I know your fixture list is crammed, but think of poor Pontardawe Town in the division below. They've got to play, starting on Tuesday, on 13th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 22nd, 24th, 27th April then 1st, 5th, 8th, 10th, 17th and 20th May with one fixture to fit in somewhere!!, ..
  13. Simples. Celtic scramble to 2nd, United win the Cup, we finish 5th. Course, let's get 4th and hope that Celtic fall even further and Ross County win the Cup. That'd do me.
  14. Masaba A valuable summer signing from Villa, he is an attack minded right full back with hard tackles. Simeon and Villas Steven Nsereko are among the few players in the country who can play any where on the pitch. However, critics often attack him for his unnecessary touches and passing.
  15. No worries. It is the case, though, clubs can't moan about having to play 20 away and 18 home when they let the bigot brothers away with it each and every season.
  16. No, it is fact. Neither Rangers not Celtic have played anything other than 19-19 each and every season.
  17. But in the interests of fair play and equality, surely what the SPL claim to be all about, why should anyone be punished for doing well? And, why should they two get an exact 19-19 each season because they hold all the money and are guarenteed to finish in the top six?
  18. I know, but two to a Celtic team who are perhaps the most rank in their history and playing like they desperately all want to be somewhere else. And one to a Rangers team who by then will already have slapped their sunscream on and looked out their passports.
  19. As I said earlier, why is it that neither of the Old Firm has ever had to play 18 home and 20 away since the SPL came into force? Would love it if the other clubs had the balls to say to the SPL.
  20. I also guess Rangers' usual end-of-season performance could see us get a result there at long last given it would mean more to us. Not the first time we've gone there in that kind-of situation and got three points, done it twice in the past.
  21. Pretty sure neither Rangers nor Celtic have had a 20-18 or 18-20 split of games. Care to explain SPL?
  22. With Hibs in complete disarray, they could well be the team which misses out completely as their run-in aint exactly easy either. Big game for us could well be that Hibs game on the Thursday night They've clearly got masses of problems behind the scenes, commentators on the radio were saying the Hibs players came out to warm down after today's game laughing and joking - clearly not giving a shit about their performances.
  23. Wouldn't surprise me if, all of a sudden, the SPL came out and said it was a mistake here's the real fixture list. Only if they've realised they have ballsed it up, they are more likely to keep quiet. This would NEVER happen to Celtic or Rangers, never.
  24. That has to be the most random kick-off time in our history just about. Quarter-past four on a Sunday?!?!?! FFS, well seeing the big two won't get shat upon at any time.
  25. Not just the split, get rid of the SPL, SFA and SFL and get one organisation sorting things out fairly. Won't happen as the Old Firm will make sure they always get things just as they want.
