  1. It's a fecking disgrace. Trying their very best to stop us getting to Europe. Probably the three hardest away games we could have. Ba*tards.
  2. After today's games, Celtic lead on 38 from18. Rangers 2nd with 32 from 17, with Dundee United and Saint Mirren also level on 32 and just a point behind are Motherwell on 31 from 18, a game less than both teams immediately above though one more than Rangers.
  3. Tweeter You can follow the progress here, currently 1-0 to Motherwell (Smith).
  4. Would have to disagree with one point. Clark knew exactly what he was doing. He did it for a second time during the game then, with Falkirk, how many others remember him deliberately battering Dougie Arnott after conceding a penalty at Fir park during the 5-3 game?
  5. It'll be interesting to see when they schedule the Old Firm game. If Rangers win tonight, they'll be 13 points clear with just 18 left. However, should we win at Legoland next week, they'd take the title by winning the following night at Tannadice (again). Whilst I dislike somewhat hugely either winning the league, it'd be really funny to see the title disappear completely for them a second time thanks to us.
  6. Remember this? Wondering if clubs are afraid they throw the dummy again and complain.....
  7. Wondering if anyone has any details of our team and scorers?
  8. Always nice to beat this lot...... Edit - Found this unofficial report. Obvious bias apart from the part highlighted.....
  9. Today's table. Can't believe a certain Edinburgh-based team have almost two-and-a-half times as many points as we have! Surely, as you say, the big fine is coming their way. Year on year they thugs get away with it! 10. Remember he didn't join until after the new year, it really was that bad!
  11. Usually, but I seem to recall that one was treated seriously with a full squad playing and narrowly sneaking a 1-0 win.
  12. I remember a Lanarkshire Cup tie mid-week once at Fir Park when there was 1003 (or something like that) at the game, pretty sure of that, and it was during the 90s. You could count the Accies fans who made it as they sat in the main stand - all 12 of them.........
  13. Rangers won't exactly be world-beaters either once the title is in the bag. Plenty of points up for grabs, goes for us all. Going to be down to those who take their chances, and get the breaks.
  14. I couldn't believe the amount of sand which is now in it, that'll need to be completely ripped up again in May I'd imagine and a new pitch from seed all over again.
  15. Fraser did everything that could have been asked of him today. Cracking save as well. Don't quite know how Ruddy could be blamed for this week's lost goal, we were just so very easily cut apart by some slack marking.
  16. Somewhere between 250-350 I'd have said.
  17. They've also got the Old Firm to face, as well as Dundee United and Hibs. Just got to keep pace with them at a minimum.
  18. Really disappointed with the lack of will to win today. It was bizarre, all the good stuff we've been raving about evaporated after 16 minutes or so at Tannadice last week, and it's been absent ever since. You just wanted a spark today to get things started, just never happened. We've now got six games left to try and get fourth, as third is now out of the question I'd say. Long as Hibs lose tomorrow, it's between us and them.
  19. Normally quite the optimist when you play us, for you to be so lacking in confidence speaks a lot for me! I don't hink we'll make any mistake tomorrow, but nor do I think that the bottom spot will be decided by this weekend's action either. Trust me, of all the teams to go down, I don't think there are many on here who'd prefer it to be Falkirk.
  20. Early team news. If Showunmi is missing that's a huge loss for them, he's about 22 feet tall and would cause problems just with that alone...
  21. I can't believe Falkirk have gone all this time without someone sent off, more especially with Pressley now in charge. In some ways, I hope they still have no one sent off come 4.50 on Saturday..........
  22. Least we are running away with one league............ 23. Arnoux, Peterlin back at Everton after Motherwell trials 31.03.10 | tribalfootball.com The American midfield pair have spent the past ten days trialling in Scotland with Motherwell. Both players were back in Everton's reserve squad for last night's fixture with Manchester City. A tight game at Halton Stadium ended in a stalemate as Everton and Manchester City were unable to breach each other's defences. The Blues were looking to bounce back from the 4-1 reverse to Wigan last week and started pretty well with some quick and confident passing on a soggy pitch. The first chance though, came via a long-ball over the top for Cody Arnoux which caused panic in the City rearguard. On six minutes, the American forward got in between his markers and drew the goalkeeper Gunnar Neilsen, but the ball got caught under his feet and the chance went begging. At the opposite end, Iain Turner was himself called into action after 12 minutes when a diagonal ball in the box saw him rushing out to punch clear ahead of Alex Nimely. It took until the 27th minute for either goalkeeper to be seriously stretched, as Turner went down to his right to palm away Robert Mak's stinging effort. Nathan Craig then went close with a free-kick from a central position two minutes later - one which narrowly missed Neilsen's top right-hand corner and both sides went in at half-time hoping to spark after the 15 minute break. With the game a little stretched as both sides went for the opener, it took a tremendously agile interception from Shane Duffy to prevent Nimely with a clear run on goal. On 65, Jake Bidwell beat his marker on the left touchline and drilled the ball across the six yard box, but there was no blue shirt able to capitalise after a mis-hit clearance from Scott Kay. Kieran Trippier's mazy run ended with his left-footed effort being deflected over by a combination of Duffy and Akpan and from the resulting corner, Duffy headed the ball onto his own crossbar and over. Mak managed to beat Turner with 13 minutes left, but was this time denied by a great goalline clearance from Duffy. By this time, the energy-sapping turf was bound to be having an effect, but both sides continued to push forward. Mak got through for a third time on 82, but this time his effort was high and wide of Turner's goal. The Scot was tested though from Deryck Boyata's far-post header from a corner, which he was equal to, palming it wide. Conor McAleny went closest to breaking the deadlock in injury time, but his curling effort was tipped over by Neilsen and both sides had to settle for a point.
  24. Agreed. Hoping this is what convinces the others to stay long-term. Go on lads, sign the page.
  25. Thing is, it's unlikely to drop much below freezing. Wednesday night might see a light frost, but nothing serious.
