  1. Twitter Twitter reports we lost narrowly, and unluckily, 1-2 today. Gary Smith again the scorer.

    Highlights

I can't even recall them being on TV either.......!
  3. Quite happily see United in the Semi-Finals if it mean us winning on saturday. Do you think, with a game this midweek, us on Saturday, and another next midweek, your manager will shuffle the side for our game?
  4. Pretty sure this is on BBC Alba Saturday night at 8pm. Would dearly love another 4-0 win as that would make for a seriously well-watched DVD!
  5. Rescheduled, according to the Shellic official website, for Tuesday, 13th April at 1945.... 13/04/2010 Clydesdale Bank Premier League Motherwell 19:45
  6. Another fine win for the Under 19s on Saturday, 4-0 away to Kilmarnock.... Under 19s Top scorers in the division and now fifth.
  7. Greeting Gary McKay in the anything-but-impartial Scotsman included this paragraph..... Nae Chance If Jim does leave, it won't be to the footballing equivalent of the Titanic.
  8. We ended the season needing to win our last three (which we did, including 2-1 at Tannadice (a fine Don Goodman double) and giving Rangers their only away defeat all season on the final day) but thanks to McLeish and Hibs being unable to win at Tynecastle we lost our sadly.....
  9. Simply cannot argue with that.
  10. Just saw the highlights. They scored about 15 seconds from kick-off and the only touch we got was the ball breaking luckily for them off Hammel. They were well pumped in the end though.
  11. I'm gonna have to get them ruddy breadcrumbs out of this keyboard. You type away and it just don't come out the way you mean it to........
  12. Picture for teh tird goal on the official website is quite funny. A rather disjointed looking Elliott vainly attempts to keep Reynolds' header out of the net. Elliott looks as bizarre as he did in his YouTube claim to fame.
  13. Marginal, in which case, hasn't the benefit of the doubt supposed to go to the striker? In which case, on side?
  14. Met three Brighton fans pre-match who asked which stand they should go into. Advised them to sit in the East, and it was an inspired choice. They certainly made the right decision to watch us after Brighton lost at home yest again.
  15. Aye, me too! Struggling to find confirmation of it though.
  16. Nah, just the three - Jonsson, Kucharski and Santana. Noticed this, well deserved guys!
  17. Jovial Jeffries has got his current mob playing exactly like every team he's ever managed. Bunch of dirty cloggers. How they escaped with just three bookings is mystifying, as was Jennings booking when so much else was being let away. On a side note, couldn't believe that Kilmarnock have scored just three times away from home in 14 games. Road trips with them must be a joy..........

    John Ruddy

Suppose it depends who is actually to blame. Noticed De Vries managed another clean sheet today.
  19. Game before the split.........
  20. Odds on Celtc v Raith, Hibs/Ross County v Rangers/United? Anyway, whatever, we are good enough to go for third. Hibs are stuttering badly, United aint exactly firing on all guns (remember how they scraped past todays opponents a week ago). Of the three, we are the team looking likelier I'd say.

    Hearts

Jennings for me. Outstanding once again. Sutts narrowly behind in the vote for me.
  22. It does show you how far we've come since Boxing Day when you are gutted at losing a goal. Still, absolutely satisfying win today and the battling the players did today shows how much they want 3rd. Aye, they have games in hand, but this is going to go right down to the wire. And we have the momentum both our rivals don't. I wouldn't rule out Saint Johnstone getting sixth. Would be interesting having both FHW (and no apologies for using that after their antics today) and Aberdeen both in the bottom six come the split.
  23. I can recall Ally Mauchlen being similar in style except, for me, Jennings goes forward more and thinks that bit sharper. He stays a few years there's definite legend material in the making.

    John Ruddy

Whait if we get that Euorpa League place? And, should Boyle fund the Ruddy signing, he'll be fully aware he will get it all back and more in a couple of years time. Never say never.
  25. Sod it. 3-0 to Motherwell and into third we go...................
