  1. Delighted with three points. Even more pleased with Gannon's summing up and being unhappy with aspects of the game. Strikes me as being a far more astute tactician than McGhee ever was, and that can only be good for the future. Next week has a lot of needle attached to it, let's give a certain former manager the nightmare August he could only have dreamt about - in his worst dreams.
  2. Almost 4-1 there, another Forbes cracker. Still, I'd have easily taken 3-1 before the game. Good start!!
  3. Gonna have to concentrate at the back more, nearly a goal back. 3-0 'Well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. I'm sat about 500 yards away.........at work sadly!!
  5. Aye, within a couple of minutes it could've been 3-0...and then possibly 2-1. However, it remains 2-0.
  6. Ah.....Someone care to merge please?
  7. Get Foran back from up North. Business will soon boom again.......
  8. Thrashed Saint Johnstone 6-1 at Stirling yesterday. Superb stuff apparently.... Humped...... Good signs of more talent on the way.

If it was in the Rancid, you can be more or less guarenteed he said something like "My Dad loved his time at Rangers" which quickly becomes "I love Rangers with an absolute passion" or thereabouts........
  10. Aye, but what are their names?!?!
  11. If Aiden "sunshinesoutahiserse" McGeady scored that, he'd be touted for Madrid seconds later and for the rest of the season. It was a stunning piece of skill from Forbes, and not for the first time this season already.
  12. I'd agree with that. Had a good chat with him on the plane back, he said that superb turn he made to get past the man on the wing and cross for the opener was learned from Coop. If only Andy had been as good a player as a talker!
  13. Could be almost anyone to be honest. Some folk will do whatever is necessary to get into the shop window as it were.
  14. Superb stuff to hear. Hope you achieve all Julie Fleeting did...and more!
  15. You must have saw the only good performance he ever put into a 'Well jersey IMHO. Over in Finland, he had a brilliant game set up the first goal and the Finns simply couldn't handle him that night. Sadly, that was about the entire sum of Roddie's good performances for us. And I saw every one of them....
  16. That's no him is it? Sure it aint, not if he can possibly coach any talent.... John Henry
  17. We might have got the Fair Play UEFA place for this season, but it seems our "mates" at the SFA thought Saint Mirren finishing behind us merited a commendation whilst we just get ignored as usual....... BawsSFA Disciplinary Analysis Thursday, 20 August 2009 The Scottish FA has today published their Disciplinary Analysis statistics for Season 2008/09. Heart of Midlothian have been fined £50,000 by the Disciplinary Committee for their poor disciplinary record. This is the fifth successive season that Heart of Midlothian have been fined and it is the highest ever imposed on a club for indiscipline. £40,000 of the fine is due immediately with £10,000 suspended until the committee's consideration of the mid season disciplinary analysis in January 2010. If there is no noticeable improvement in the club's discipline, the remaining £10,000 will be payable. 25 other clubs were fined, including a £20,000 fine for Hibernian, and 19 clubs were warned as a result of their disciplinary records. The committee was pleased to commend the following clubs for displaying a satisfactory standard of discipline during the season: Celtic, St. Mirren, Partick Thistle, Peterhead, Brechin City, Cowdenbeath, Keith, Preston Athletic, Edinburgh University, Stirling University, Dalbeattie Star, Annan Athletic and Balintore.
  18. Ah mind that. Coyle 44, Falconer with just 3 minutes to go. We wore the neon strip that day. Brilliant stuff with another late winner.
  19. Aye, yer right, typed in TC then remembered later Coyle got it and TC missed a pen. What a season that was, couple of weeks later we had this.... RaShellic 0 Motherwell 2 (Coyle 28, Weir 90)!! then.... Motherwell 1 (TC 80) Rangers 1 (Sally)
  20. At this match.... Nov 1st, 1997 Saint Johnstone 4 Motherwell 3 It was 4-0 to the home side after an hour, then we got a pen a minute later and Hendry scored it!! Billy Davies and then TC had us just a goal behind within 12 minutes, but Bawldy Rowbotham denied us a stonewall penalty in the last minute to level. This was a week after we lost to a last minute fat arse Windass goal at Fir Park to the Sheepymehs.
  21. Which was just a few days after this game, when the late, great Jamie Dolan starred in goals.... Motherwell 2 (Davies 39, Ian Ross 89) RaShellic 1 (Hay 83)
  22. Cork fans think so much of Murphy they've even got legend T-shirts.... Legend?!?!
  23. Pretty sure it was. Was he no related to Jimmy "sunbeds" Calderwood, they seemed to have the same fake orangeness.....
