  1. Well Bois debated by some of the Dandie Don fans. Looks like they want to have there own: "We should strive to have something similar, there's only 2/300 of them in that group so it's not something completely out of our reach. Fucking

After that, the team should be applauded off the team bus when they return..
  3. Wither they stopped it happening is immaterial. The question being posted was; "why an increase in presence" And the answer still remains, because an element of the fan base can't be trusted despite being told twice not to do it. I've personally never had any issue with stewards inside fir park as i'm sure the vast majority of fans will have found.
  4. are you serious? it's quite obvious why there was so many stewards, because certain selfish little boys can't take a telling and stay off the park. if the club gets fined, will they stump up the money and pay it? Doubt it!
  5. First qualifying round Draw Date = 23 June 2014 1st Leg = 3 July 2014 2nd Leg = 10 July 2014 Second qualifying round Draw Date = 23 June 2014 1st Leg = 17 July 2014 2nd Leg = 24 July 2014 Higher co-eff that the dandy dons, just sayin' UEFA Club Rankings: 62 Celtic 36.813 191 Motherwell 8.313 232 Dundee United 6.313 289 Aberdeen 4.313
  6. utter guff! I knew ABD would be away, but UTD as well is a tough one to take. Both the biggest rivals for 2nd/3rd and both away. BUT, what takes the biscuit is that the last game of the season is away AGAIN!! So, the last home game is a mid week one.. really poor.
  7. So long as the team with 2 home games that 'looses out' get celtic as one of the home games, then i would think that nobody will loose out overall in income terms. A game for us vs. celtic is 3 pts dropped so would rather it was away to be honest.. and face Utd and ICT at home to give a slim advantage in what will be a crucial 'six pointers' I also think that aberdeen should loose out of the home game, as they were most likely the team not expected to be in the top six and cause the imbalance.
  8. not going to a football match cos a drum can't be used is very petty and selfish. if you were going in the first place, then go and support your team regardless if there is some guy banging a drum.
  9. what we need is a return to the split gate money, so teams get a cut of the "50k fans" that turn up to see celtic. Rather than an extra 6k fans on the gate when they visit. Of course, this idea will be immediately cast aside by Celtic and they'll never allow it... But, this would be short sighted of them as by having split gate money, the money is more evenly distributed and will increase the quality of opposition and therefore the competitiveness of the league in which they compete. Which must be in their interest to increase the quality of league games?
  10. that was my attempt at sarcasm, i guess it didn't work! : ) 18 team league would provide more variation and competition. the whole story that we'd have to divide the money thinner is urban legend talk to keep the 4 O.F games going. You would take the money for the top six Championship places and add it to the SPFL so there was the same money going round. Then add the other 3 leagues together to form 2 larger leagues and rerarange the money pro rata. People would be quick to point out less money in lower leagues, but the quality of said leagues has just went down so naturally it has less value and therefore obvious the prize money in those leagues go down. the 18 team league would mean you'd only play aberdeen twice and so that 1 visit away would have less change happening on boxing day. there are also more teams that we could have been drawn against in a bigger league.. but we might still have been screwed over and went up on that day.. still a win's a win!
  11. Welcome to the wonderful world of the 12 team league! There will be more of this at the end of the season when the split comes around. If we had a normal football league of 18 to 20 then we'd play teams only once home away and none of these issues.... but that'll ruin Scottish fitbaw! I'm also Sure I read on the old official spl site that the computer did the first run of the fixtures, then they were hand tweaked as required for various reasons before release.
  12. Well said. And also, do people loose their voice when they sit down? However, if it goes ahead it will cost the teams money to implement, and as such will these same punters be willing to provide subsidies though ticket money so they get what they are wanting ? Or do they expect to get this converted for free and then pay less in ticket money, reducing the money through the gate?
  13. And as if by magic, there is a wee article on the offical site welcoming everybody to drop by the cooper lounge for a pre-match pint. Open from 5pm
  14. i think you also need a username and password, which you buy. cheapest option is 99kr for a weeks telly which works out at a tenner. haven't and won't test it. i'll just pop down 'the pub' and take a gander.
  15. i noticed on saturday that Ross County has adidas shirts. How can they afford that but we're mucking about with bukta, cantabury etc...
  16. if after all this extra work, hatley doesn't sign for another year. then he was full of sh1t. Cos' he said that the reason he was most doubtful was the pitch.
  17. do you think we should put a bid in for barrowman in the ross county team. Seems to know how to score a goal or two. we must be able to offer better conditions ?
  18. exactly, i've never hear such a stupid rumor in all my puff. Claret and Amber are our colours, and we wouldnt of signed a deal if they couldn't produce a strip of those colours...
  19. hearts can spend like that because the owner also owns the bank they borrow from.
  20. If it is who i think it is, then i use to go out with her... She is from a rangers family. But, appears to of got lost and is in the 'well end for some reason ?? Perhaps she misses me and all is forgiven ...
  21. Unfortunatley guys, it was this type of talk that got motherwell into bad debt. So, with JB looking after the money, and wanting to stay in the black as a number 1 priority. He will not stretch the bank again. Rather i think CB will try find the next faddy or clarkson from the youth squad and try some new loan deals... it's for the best.
  22. Who is this girl in the gray top with jean, i think i recognise her.
  23. this opinion will get bashed , but i think we should have a more germanic approach where there is only 10% season tickets per team and the rest pay at the gate... Instead of £14 a mach for season tickets and £22 for pay at gate, they should get rid of the season tickets and everybody pay a lower rate of £15. That way people can budget better and not feel stuck on a deal that last a year and still get the discount.
  24. a new stadium would fix a few things such as, the half finish POD stand, the past it's best east stand and the 5 foot slope of the pitch. Also could improve on-site parking, and a million other things to make it a great wee ground for the next 100 years of football. If NLC can spend 80 million on a college for neds to do NHC in , or 30 million on a sports centre, then can sure as hell help out the best team in lanarkshire with a better football ground.. get a finance deal done and MFC can pay them back over time.
  25. would i be correct in saying he hasn't had a look in because of jucie fruits... therefore when he leaves in the summer there would be a space for him? I'd think there would be a space when all the summer reorganising is done.
