  1. Kai Andrews is having a tidy game for Hibs
  2. Didn't seem to work, worked now I think
  3. Mcginn was superb today, nothing got past him, Sparrow also excellent
  4. Our transfer Windows are usually more miss than hit but our summer 2025 transfer window must be by far and away our best one ever. Considering that also included our new manager coming in who has been nothing short of exceptional and Wimmer's one and only signing also being superb it's hard to think how it can be beaten. To think we also managed to make our biggest ever sale and replace with a few players now worth over a £million in the squad it genuinely beggars belief how good that window has turned out to be. It should turn out to be genuinely transformational for our club and stand us in good stead for years to come. The board also deserve massive credit for this. Must be in contention for not just our but possibly even the league's best transfer window by a club?
  5. Anyone else hear a rumour that watt failed a medical at rangers on an issue that will take 12 weeks to fix? Rangers fan at work told me that and rumour doing the rounds with their fans 🙈 Should find out on Saturday if true or not if he is playing 😂
  6. I think most of the Scottish media are now in awe of JBA.....Charlie Mulgrew was like a kid talking to Santa Clause after the game
  7. I thought it was interesting that JBA did call out Just as one of the best players so pretty sure he will be back in when fit, plus he has great assists stats already
  8. ...add to that we will be playing against a tried and trusted 30% possession game plan Will be tough breaking down that however if last season's St Johnstone can then hopefully JBA's mini Barcelona can
  9. Defo a player there, seen that at Easter road last season.....his highlight real from Aus showed loads of headed goals, JBA also acknowledged he needs service, the fact we are signing wingers says to me we will play in a way that will suit AP sooner rather than later and he will score a good few I reckon
  10. Wimmer has said he has had to make a lot of compromises this season and been pretty clear he expects to play without compromise at start of next season....so reckon highly unlikely much more of out of contract or loan players will be here next season unless Wimmer has problems persuading his initial targets to come here.
  11. Absolutely, however you would expect Rangers are more likely to punish us than Dundee whilst still in early stages learning the new approach. Fingers crossed we fill that gap in the middle on Saturday
  12. I liked that he pulls guys aside during the game quite a lot to give them info as well when time allows
  13. In the first half Dundee managed to play quickly right through the middle of us with ease playing through the gaps of the high press midfield, that was also a concern.
  14. The zipped ball at knee height from the goalie to miller was impressive, the goalie is decent with his distribution
  15. I don't mind managers having an ethos and a style of play, but they need to have a plan B, C, D and good in game management, will be interesting to see if he has that in his locker. I also thought SOD looked a bit nervy in the interview, think its just be as big a culture shock for the players as it will be for the new management team, hope they all find their feet together soon, don't think it will be a quick transition so expecting a tough run until the end of the season.
  16. I think Paton's energy will be enough to get him a start this week, I reckon he will show up quite well in training, also think Davor in with a shout if looking to play a pressing game
  17. The club and whoever is in the inner circles have played a blinder keeping everyone guessing......can u imagine the meltdown if the big reveal doesn't take place before lunchtime tomorrow.....it's been fun if nothing else to detract from the current shambles on the pitch
  18. https://talksport.com/football/2932544/mika-biereth-hat-trick-monaco-arsenal-injury-news/amp/
  19. Disappointing if Sparrow has an injury?....a lot of talk about midfield and need options in January....that is true but we have a full midfield on the injury table...Callaghan, Slattery, Paton, Nicholson.....not saying they are the answer but we have done remarkably well with the midfield 3 and Sparrow's sub appearances as far as league position goes. Hopefully second half of season see's is with a lot more options in midfield to change things up a bit, particularly with Nicholson and Paton being a bit more creative and attack minded letting Miller sit a bit deeper again....
  20. The new African forward, Kettlewell referred to him as TJ during an interview after the match
  21. I think this is our best starting 11 given our fit squad Ox McGinn Gordon O'Donnel Seddon Zdravkovksi Miller Sparrow Watt TJ Moses
  22. @Dee regarding the new plan the society board are working on, is it a pick one or the other type scenario or is it shaped that both EB (or another investor/partner) and society plans can co-exist bringing in 2 sets of additional/improved revenue or flexibility so both plans can be reviewed and merged into one with the 2 parties having roles and commitments to play in delivering one new merged plan?
  23. He does come across pretty decent and hopefully a solution can be found where the WS can carry forward their funding proposals alongside Erik investing and working on new revenue streams, projects and amending his original proposal to be one that is good enough to unite everyone instead of spilt opinion.... That would be the ideal outcome
  24. That's the problem, they voted personally on the club board instead of discussing with their ws board counterparts before voting..... I would expect WS club board members are representing the WS board and it's members, not there to vote with their personal viewpoint on such important matters......that is fundamentally wrong and needs to change going forward for any new WS club board representatives....a lot of this situation could have been avoided if this policy was in place
