Regarding Well Society representatives on the club board....what is their remit and obligation regarding voting on matters such as this? Surely they should at least go back to the WS board, discuss the information at hand, provide details of the club board discussions then go back with a vote that represents the wider WS board position? It looks like they have made a vote based on personal opinion which hasn't represented the wider WS board's views? It may not be workable to do that for every vote but for important ones then that should surely be the case? It is madness we are in a position where the WS board have come out with a statement totally different to what the representatives on the club board voted for. Lessons learned regarding guidelines and process the WS representatives on the club board need to follow when being voted onto the club board as WS representatives given there will need to be new ones voted in to replace the resigned ones shortly. It was embarrassing to have the WS board issue a statement that contradicts what their club board representatives voted for.

A positive I have seen today is that Barmack is definitely not hung up on the shareholding %'s....he seems up for reshaping the deal so WS remains at minimum 51% ..... That seems to be a big box ticker...... Another positive is that the WS board are spending time to put together a proposal and plan to increase funds coming into the WS and in turn benefit the club..... Surely the third positive would be that we find a way both proposals/parties work together as both proposals are working on bringing additional funds into the club with the aim of ensuring we remain competitive so surely both can co-exist and doesn't need to be one or the other? That for me would be the big win and best way forward

Regarding fee's I am sure I seen online that we were offering no up front fee's for some targets but instead payments going forward based on appearance criteria etc so when we see a fee it doesn't mean an up front payment, could be a few via other methods/criteria on an ongoing basis

Charlton also rumoured to be interested....let the bid war commence

Last pre season was a huge learning curve for what transfer targets he can realistically aim and plan for....I am sure he is lucky if he got any of his first or second choice targets last season and was basically scrambling at the end to see who would actually come here hence we end up with last minute signings like Shaw. I expect this pre season SK will be much better prepared and will have been planning accordingly for the last few months and had the chance to sound out potential targets that he wouldn't have been able to do last season. This pre season we can find out how good he really is...or how bad... A huge pre season ahead but SK more than deserves to be here to do it and fingers crossed it works out as every signing at our level is a gamble. For me there is not much to dislike about SK's performance in his first full season other than the poor run and poor goals against, he sorts out the defence and replaces Spittal and potentially Bair well then he is the right person to take us into next season and top 6 certainly achievable. He has never lost the dressing room and we still play decent attacking football given the number of goals we have scored. Off the pitch seeing what happens with investors is going to only be a bonus if extra money and public exposure comes to the club..... interesting times ahead but should all be positive just now anyway.

That is an interesting and surprising stat.... amazing that Biereth leaving and Obika being out all season has had such a positive impact and we have a very high sellable asset on our hands now.... hopefully continues progress next season ideally with us... Regarding next season worrying Halliday is signed on, a reasonable signing on paper but looks a few yards off Premiership pace, a drop down to Championship would suit him better I think.

Regarding figures what would be deemed sufficient to even offer 49% of club to potential buyers given the ground Fir Park is on must have decent value, the player assets also have decent value and the business as a whole has some value...?

Nicholson could possibly fill Spital's role next season, with a good pre season he looks like he could be decent, Tierney also really young and loan move and hopefully some game time has benefited him so might also be a contender to fill the gap

Is Spittal not out of contract at end of season so if he leaves we get zero benefit other than his wages to spend (gamble) on someone else?

It's crazy to think that when he signed we r now thinking where would we b without him! The injuries to the other strikers have been a blessing in disguise because he has had that drive to improve knowing he can put it in action during game time. Been some season attacking wise having 3 decent young strikers to watch considering we only had KVV previously. Vale has been a great and clever replacement for Biereth as similar in work rate and style that suits Bair. Bair deserves a new contract and hopefully an extended one to also protect our investment. KVV had a one off wonder season where as Bair is young and should only keep getting better which is exciting in itself.

40 points is a good marker to avoid 11th historically, sometimes quite a bit less points was enough, 14 points needed from 11 games.....
-
Sturm Graz potentially Biereth's next destination apparently
-
Callum Lang on bench too
-
He is suspended for this Dundee game
-
Kelly Butcher Casey Spencer Gent Davor Slattery Paton Spittal Wilkinson Mika
-
Move to a back 4 seems sensible (back 3/5 has ran it's course), have Gent and Spencer as attacking wing backs, bring Davor in for a holding role (Butcher can also step in here) play 2 up top and have 3 in midfield for creativity.....sorted 👍

I got the feeling during summer transfer window we were outbid on or couldn't agree a deal with our main transfer targets and had to make do with some bodies that would actually sign for us....I reckon what we had planned and what we actually got was totally different at the end of the window....as such can't blame SK too much, reckon he needs until after next summer's transfer window to have a squad more or less as planned....defo a work in progress and not easy work at that.

Love Dan shouting at the Killie guy on way back after his goal, Slattery is hilarious just before and after Paton's goal

Around 5 weeks

Would prefer having Moult on the doctor's table instead of Obika, at least Moult might get goals when he is able to make a cameo
-
To be known as "Dave" going forward 😂
-
Paton was a real surprise in one of the training sessions I seen, he was a standout by miles, hopefully a good preseason and he will be a decent signing without costing very much
-
I am sure I read Alexander saying Tyler was brought in to cover right side of defence, given he was signed so late I wouldnt be surprised if Dec or SOD have got a knock and Tyler brought in to cover them. He has probably got the most recent minutes under his belt of our signings so expect him to come in for Dec or SOD tonight.

At first the thought of Tommy Wright made me shudder.....however with the short term target to finish 10th and giving Las someone else to learn from for 6 months then would be a sensible appointment for the rest of this season only.....this depends on the calibre of applicants we have received or approached at this stage of the season.....finish 10th and start again in June makes me feel a lot better than other options just now as just now we are relegation certainties......the current players need a proper hard no bull shit b*****d that gives them the fear (Lasley isn't that guy) to get any sort of reaction as we will be left with the majority of them for the rest of the season as we are limited as to what we can do this transfer window......unless there is a long term gem available just now I am happy with Wright for 6 months to finish 10th, I am confident he would manage that short term then he can go back home to his family then we can reconsider Lasley or any other applicants.....ideally though please let there be a hidden gem who has applied just now.
